Don't know anything about him, does anybody have any info?

Wish we could buy a few backs, like a centre and winger, maybe with a bit of speed and youth.

Article in this week's RLW on Daryl MILLARD where he says that Maguire had been chasing him for 4 yrs to play in his teams.ie.Wigan etc trying to lure him from other ESL teams.

He finally was able to get him to Sths--hence the reason why he is now being persevered with!

Placed some info re. him earlier--somewhere.

Capt. of the NSW Team of the Year in 2013 & also half for the NSW Resident's team which defeated the Qld Residents in that year.

A reliable team-type player---solid performer.

Would possibly complete a very satisfactory job in good company & stick rigidly to team plan!

Well at least we have 4 halves in the squad. Can't remember the last time that happened.

Finally the Bears will have 2 good halves also, they've been lacking in the last few years.

Nicholls is on the same level as the likes of Nathan Peats and Justin Hunt. Good NSW Cup player who will be useful playing 5 or 6 games a year of NRL to cover for injuries

Souths' problem at the moment though is the Goodwin-Millard-Reddy backline which any half would struggle to get anything out of

Yeah hopefully he and Walker put pressure on Reynolds and Keary.

Agreed with that statement, we were in the same position this time last year where the likes of Johnston and Auva'a stepped up. We've got the likes of Setefano Taukafa, Aaron Gray, Ed Murphy and Sam Manuleleua who will hopefully step up to the plate.

Except Millard has now lost more pace compared to 3-4 years ago.

Millard imo is only being persevered with as Dylan Walker has been out.

In Origin period though I expect Millard to play first grade too.

Regarding our back line it's a shame Gray hasn't been able to play for the Bears every week due to a couple of injuries.

Also now Taukafa is injured. I don't know what's wrong with him though.

The younger guys in our squad are unfortunately picking up injuries, both in the backs and forwards.

Tom Hughes isn't named for the Bears either and hasn't been named for weeks. Anyone know if he's injured?

Also Whitelaw isn't named for U20s/Bears either. He hasn't been named for a few weeks now.

Crichton isn't named in U20s either.

Out of those guys, Manuleleau is the only guy who's been fully fit and played consistently for Norths.

Murphy had a broken foot and only returned last week.

Anyone know what the injury is regarding Taukafa?

Tom Hughes broke his leg early in the season.
Angus Crichton broke his hand (same injury as Walker) in the same weekend too.
Not sure what has happened to Whitelaw.

boys expect a couple of more loses

wat adam reynolds brings to the team is so much with direction, play and goal kicking and communication with defence with his outside men.

who i have been really unimpressed by is greg inglis supposed to be the last ditch tackle saver but has practically missed every single one.

another person who im not impressed by is alex johnston does not bend the line at all when he runs and is always put on his back.

what does darren nicholas bring to the team a hell not of nothing.

souths to lose the next 2-3 games spewing
