It’s a pretty important game for us. If we get flogged senseless, there won’t be any excuses.

Excuses won't matter whether they're offered or not...but whether we win by a whisker or get thrashed by 50 i think it might be the game that turns things around and if it does i believe it will come from the playing group.

3 of the top stories is still about us and the Pearce debacle, not a mention of Easts win last night?

I think this all stems from Sheens giving it to them at the start of the season, saying they didn’t know what they were talking about.

Agree, but surely it’s impossible for the whole hierarchy not to notice it and more absurdly, ignore it.

It hasn’t just happened.

I’ve been hard on Benji because of his self love, selfishness and stupidity.

Having sex with chunks of rubber and stripping on TV is embarrassing.

He cannot coach.

He is functionally illiterate, but I’m not having a go at him for that because that doesn’t make anybody a bad person.

But I must say, for him to break ranks like this, as stupid as it seems, twas honourable.

And i pay tribute to his courage.

TBF, reasonable & transparent, we don’t know if Benji can’t coach as yet?

Excuse me, we’ve seen his handiwork with the halves and it’s been an abject failure.

Twas a fools errand to contact Pearce ( and who else?).

Bunji has kind of blundered into this admirable liaison by his own buffoonery and poor judgment ( as far as club unity is concerned).

Now I’m not happy about Pearce, but I am very pleased with Benji realising that Brooksy is “halves death” and having a go to change it.

Behind Tim’s back, no permission from the board, Justin out of the loop….I like it.

I’m a fair person and I say due when it’s due.

Benjis treachery of the club and our incompetent powerbrokers is to be applauded.

Off on his own mindless frolic, well done Benji.

I was going to walk out on the club for the season, but now I’m re-thinking that because of Benji’s courage.

This could be the circuit breaker, the grenade we needed.

The internals of the club divided at last. Benji hears us.

He would have been chastised and abused by the club hierarchy pricks for breaking ranks. Questions asked about his suitability for the coaching job.

Not because he can’t coach, but because he is a rat and a traitor to the incompetent club hierarchy.

Thank you Benji.

On the “coaching insider” podcast, it’s posted on this weeks game thread, Sheens said he did know about the contact, as they communicate everything before hand……unless you have other information?

I’m not defending Benji, but he is not the head coach, he probably does work with the halves, but you can’t turn lead into silver no matter how hard you try, I certainly wouldn’t be blaming anyone but Brooks (and the people who continually sign him) for his lacklustre decade of not much.

I’m more likely calling bullshit on Tim tbh.

Benji has been working with our choking halves several times a week.

If Tim knew about the call, then his continuing selection of Brooksy in the starting side is nothing short of rubbish.

His continuing public praise of Brooksy is also disingenuous.

I’m glad to see the unfolding chaos, weve been patient but now we desperately need it.

No one hates Brooks on a personal level, he just needs to f**k off.

The longer this Brooksy cult (of the damned)continues, the longer it is going to take for his replacement to work into a combination.

And if Tim is true to his philosophy, he will need to provide Brooksys replacement with his own 3 or 4 weeks to make an impact.

This is why it is a very pressing issue.

For starters, I would like to see Wakeham at 7 & Brooks at 6 at the very least, just to see what it looks like?

Do we know when Will Smith is available to play NRL?

No Brooks not at 6, I’d rather Doogie.

Im not sure about anyone else, but the loins were occasionally stirring with some of the stuff Simpkin was trying before he was flattened.

Im not saying he’s good or anything outrageous, I don’t know how he’d cope in a halves role, but I see glimpses of something.

Times are tough.

I’d rather die trying than stick to failed formula.

On paper, I’m not afraid of their pack and I think Renno will be very cautious. He needs to be smashed at every opportunity.

He must be on more painkillers than it is humanly possible to ingest. Back end specialist.

I think he should retire for his own well being later on. Blocker..he’s got that forever knee injury and it flares up every now and again.

‘Should be sacked’: Calls grow louder for change at Wests Tigers

There are growing calls for the Wests Tigers’ board to sack their controversial chief executive Justin Pascoe as the club continues to struggle.

There are growing calls for the Wests Tigers’ board to sack their controversial chief executive Justin Pascoe.
The Tigers have endured a disastrous eight years on the field since Pascoe joined the club in 2015 and the nothing looks like changing anytime soon.

Tim Sheens’ side are currently anchored to the bottom of the ladder after becoming the first team since 1968 to start consecutive seasons 0-5.
Veteran rugby league journalist Pete Badel has become the latest join a chorus of voices calling for front office change at the join-venture club.
There are two problems at the Tigers, one is Luke Brooks and the other is Justin Pascoe,” Badel said on NRL 360.
“Justin Pascoe should be sacked by the board and I’ll tell you why. In 2019, they were guilty of a cap breach and he was stood down for six months by the NRL.
“They were fined $750,000 by the NRL on Justin Pascoe’s watch. As a result of that the next year they had $639,000 take out of their salary cap.
“Now that’s a big chunk out of your salary cap when you’re trying to rebuild a club that’s in the mess they’re in at the moment.

“At the same time, they extended Luke Brooks to a $1 million contract. To me it’s one of the worst deals we’ve seen.”

Phil Rothfield argued you can’t blame chief executives for player signings and Paul Kent said the Tigers’ problems lay elsewhere.
“The problem is we heard all summer about how they’ve revamped their attack, after two weeks the chairman comes on and says if we attacked better then he comes on a week later and says we’re a new team, give us time,” Kent said.
“You’re 0-3 while the Dolphins who legitimately are a new team are 3-0.

The problem at the Tigers is the people there just don’t know what they don’t know. That sounds cute but they don’t know what a winning club looks like.
Sheens is the only one that does but it was a long time ago and the game has changed so much. They are so far removed from where they need to go.”

To defend Laurie for liking a team scoring because you are sulking about not being picked is a shit go and shows a lack of character and smacks of a toddler screaming at his mum in the shops because they can't get an ice cream. To reward him for doing this would be moronic. We should fine him if possible and then sack him.

According to WWOS, a Facebook group called the ‘Wests Tigers Action Group’ have begun planning, hoping to take a stand against the club’s administration. The group are reportedly planning to walkout of Accor Stadium and also turn their backs on the field in the 11th and 12th minute — the amount of years the club has missed the finals.

One last point what on earth went wrong with the Anzac jersey, did he contact the defence force or not ? The whole thing seems to be one in a long list of f**k ups.
