This is where the club must make a stand, massive release/transfer fee, plus invoice him for all the in-house physio costs for last year.

Actually, why not offer Nofa to Manly?
I think the peaheartedness of our team is related to this. Since we let Moses leave without repercussions, Ivan left, aloiai left, matterflog left. No stand was taken at any time and our management have been tagged as weak gutted dogs by other clubs, players managers and the players themselves. That's why there is no accountability, because they know if they don't like what they are told they can just sook and get released immediately

Tigers on brink of unwanted history

The Wests Tigers need a win to avoid going down as one of the worst teams of the NRL era. The Tigers haven’t won a game of football since the victory over Brisbane on July 30 last year (round 20) and are currently sitting on an 11-game losing streak.
They currently sit in seventh position on the list of the longest losing streaks in the NRL era. The worst streak belongs to the Knights, who lost 19 straight games spanning across 2016 and 2017.

The scary thing for the Tigers is that if they hadn’t beaten Brisbane in round 20 last year, they’d be on their own 19-game losing streak. The club have managed just four wins in their past 33 games. They haven’t won a game with Luke Brooks in the No.7 jersey in their past 16 games.

Longest losing streaks of the NRL era

  • 19: Newcastle Knights (2016-17)
  • 14: Gold Coast Titans (2019-20)
  • 13: North Queensland Cowboys (2008)
  • 13: Brisbane Broncos (2020-21)
  • 13: Cronulla Sharks (2009-10)
  • 12: South Sydney Rabbitohs (2006)
  • 11*: Wests Tigers (2022-23)
We look certainties to beat our worst record of 11 2022-23.

I'm tipping at least 13 and if we go down to St George we are looking like 17 losses in a row.

WOW, we are setting record after record. Pascoe and co must be well pleased.

Thanks for posting Ned.

It’s important that the media keep piling on the pressure to give us hope for change.

The crap is transitional, it follows from year to year, the only stable elements being the Board and Brooksy.

I am sure the innards of the club are freaking out by now. The pressure would be blowing out eardrums.

It’s difficult to recall a club in NRL history so out of touch with its fans and members.

The best they can do is flip another poor player in front of the camera on official media saying we are close or there’s no more excuses. It’s an honour for be flogged senseless again because our coaching staff have nfi.

Or the womens league.

Drag out the old charity angle.

It’s a comedy.

but but but but

our finances and good

and we have a centre of excellence

and like 400,000 fans

and a new Mercedes for Justin

We’d be finished if we couldn’t laugh at our plight.

The Board are like Custers last stand. Last year I was contemptuous of them, now I’m close to hating them.

I’ve been thinking of setting the jersey ablaze and sending the footage to Kenty et al.

The problem is the dog wouldn’t appreciate it.

Phanto, if you hate them that much don't piss off your dog, waste your money, and don't desecrate the jersey.

If you want to burn something burn down the homes of the board members and senior management you hate*

It might land you in a shit load of trouble but you'll sure feel good temporarily.

It might also get some results, with spineless board members and management deciding to resign en masse.

Why not have a crack at Hepatitis Lee's Ferrari. He loves that a lot more than the Tigers.

All these rich bastards will have high quality CCTV up the wazoo. Black hoodies and COVID masks are your friend. As are gloves. As tempting as it is, don't take a dump on their doorstep upon arrival. DNA is your worst enemy. Even if it is burnt in the ensuing inferno, residue will be left. Or if you're feeling bold, you could wear your Tigers jersey and a Laurie Nicholls mask. Or a Luke Brooks mask. He seems to be able to do no wrong.

*for legal reasons I do not endorse my above statement. This has been a message paid for by Brydens Compensation Lawyers.

Fair enough, I’ll buy a manly jersey and spray paint it.

Why would the board feel pressure? It's not like they have had much of a fight for spots in the past few years....

True, but the public ridicule and constant denigration would probably wear thin after a period.

To some extent the NRL has given organisations freedom in their set ups etc and is reluctant to interfere.

It’s been a series of “crying wolf” from the board, Tim and co lifting expectations to distract from failure.

Then it’s become addictive.

The reality is that they’ve let us down horrifically with zero hope on the horizon. In fact, I expect things to get far worse.

Another way of getting them to account is to have a scandal of some kind. Something the NRL can use to get rid of this incompetent matey junta.

At the end of the day, If they truly cared about the club, they’d realise they are f**king it up and would stand aside.

You don’t have to be on the board, executive or in coaching to support the club.

The Board and co are the most incomprehensibly arrogant tools in the history of the game.

I’ve managed businesses and employed people, I’ve sat on boards and organisations, I’ve even been a chair. I didn’t spend my time boldly lying to people and telling people to suck eggs.

And when your time is up, you move on.

Lee would be a more constructive fellow using his Tigers time to help community legal centres. Help people who could benefit from his legal skills and experience. No doubt he has some ability in that area. He pumped Tyrone May for example.

But not running around threatening to sue people in our name. He hasn’t been effective here either.

Yahoo sports says

"The Tim Sheens-coached Tigers have now become the first team since the Rabbitohs in 2008 to lose their first seven games of the season...
The embarrassing 15-year first leaves the joint-venture outfit rooted to the bottom of the ladder and searching for answers after another soul-crushing loss to Manly."

Yet another record we look like absolutely smashing.

Question for Pascoe in Ask The Boss "How bad would the Wests Tigers results have to be for you and the board to resign allowing the club to reset?
