I thought the club formally approved the jersey.

Being the fully accountable folk they are, this headline suggests they sacked a junior employee or another easy target.

Appalling 19th century management.

Anybody who works for our club and is not part of the matey junta has rocks in their head.

I hope we get done for unlawful dismissal.

Does Pascoe really think sponsors and other financial stakeholders are going to hang around for much longer?

And I say that beyond our playing group. They haven’t won a game, but that’s a standard our management couldn’t even hope to aspire to.

I’d better see how I can donate to Roycey. I met him once at a Panthers do as I have connections there. You couldn’t meet a nicer person.

I attempted to read about the alleged spitting incident on Monday but it was hidden. Now I can read it !! In case anyone missed it.

The dressing room altercation between Tigers half Brandon Wakeham and Manly prop Josh Aloiai over a sledging war with Samuela Fainu threatens an ugly player split at Concord.

The Daily Telegraph reported Wests Magpies prop Sione Fainu was fuming at Wakeham’s sledging of his brother and Manly debutant Samuela Fainu.

Wakeham’s alleged slanging match with Fainu the Tigers’ 22-16 loss to Manly at Cambelltown Sports Stadium led to an on-field scuffle, before a heated altercation an hour after full-time in the tunnel.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported match audio confirms Wakeham told referee Todd Smith that Fainu “spat at me … he spat at my face” in the 65th minute.

Smith is then heard saying to Wakeham: “Okay then, do you want to make a complaint about that?”

However, Wakeham chose not to take the matter further, opting against lodging an official complaint.

Wakeham did taunt Fainu when Starford To’a went past Josh Schuster and Fainu to give the Tigers the lead late in the second half.

The Tigers playmaker went to Westfields Sports High School, where the four Fainu brothers, including imprisoned former Manly player Manase, also attended.

In the aftermath of the match Sione Fainu, who has spent time at both clubs, was reportedly furious his brother Samuela was sledged on his debut by a Tigers teammate.

Manly players accused Wakeham of vilifying Fainu for the crucial missed tackle on To’a.

Wakeham and Sione Fainu played side-by-side in three games this season, the last of which came just two weeks ago in Wests’ 10-6 NSW Cup loss to Parramatta on Easter Monday.

Sione played in Western Suburbs’ 24-16 win over Manly in a NSW Cup curtain-raiser on Sunday and was still seething at Wakeham’s actions later that night.

In an attempt to protect his teammate Fainu, Aloiai attempted to find a quiet place in the tunnel area - away from the media - to settle their differences.

Aloiai allegedly said to Wakeham: “You were talking some shit out there. Nah, bro, it’s not on, that went too far.”

However, both players were eventually stopped from pursuing each other in the direction of each changeroom, with Wakeham told to return to the Tigers sheds.

It is alleged Wakeham said: “Bro, it was nothing.”

A nearby journo said: “It wasn’t physical but certainly tense.”

One journalist said: “The whole thing was just bizarre.”

A bit early to go off, if we don't know?

Surely you’re not expecting a good outcome lol.

I’ve conjured up @macnaz mindset for my call.

He told us a few years ago that we are the kings of scapegoat except when a matey mate is in trouble.

And he’s been right about this call for two years straight.

So forgive me, but I’m not taking my chances.

Especially at this juncture in the clubs era.

Well, when we know, we'll know, that's all. Remembering it is clarke and the tele sprouting this, after all?

Entitled to your view, but I’m backing the broader macnazian vibe that it’s going to be another fail.

As you know, I’m in safe and default mode as far as the club is concerned.

Where we have an unaccountable and incompetent board, the less tolerance in the mainstream media for the clubs perpetual garbage the better.

As you know, I will always support us fans and our players. The boys run out, I want them to win.

Everything else is fair game.

My game plan for the Panthers is my usual one for them.

Get up and in their faces as much as possible.

If we can’t execute properly, I think we need some chaos and mayhem in attack.

Desperately need to abandon attacking plays that rely on pin point execution because we are not up to it.

Just get something in the range and bodies in motion.

And as much legalised violence in defence as we can manage.

That’s how you beat the Panthers. Send them off on stretchers. Beat their entitled daylight out of them.

If we let them play actual footy, we will be smashed.

I think Tim will go with my game plan. He’s a bit more courageous than Madge.

Ouch -

Yeah, an operation and he may have to have a bag in his stomach for a while. That allows the tear to heal.

it has to get seen-to because of the risk of infection, if some food matter escapes from the stomach into the sterile systems.

The good news is that he’s caught it early, he’s young and fit and he should make a full recovery.

It self-heals.

How he actually played through it is remarkable and about the last thing you’d want to do.

We are in broken jaw territory for toughness.

If you don’t get it sorted, you can very easily get sepsis, suffer greatly and die.

He’s just entered Tigers legend status-nothing is too good for our Charlie.

Risked his life playing for us…

I had a ruptured appendix last November which I didn't know about until I got fevers. Went to er and the surgeon told me I had maybe a day before I was probably dead. It's a pretty bloody serious injury for him, hope he recovers well let alone playing top flight footy again

Yeah, you are right, I did a little bit of research on it before I posted to try get some kind of idea of what he was facing.

I don’t think it’s a very common event in league, you’d probably see a lot more of it in near fatal car accidents or gunshot wounds.

I worry about him psychologically and will keep watch on his recovery.

I’m a bit down about it tbh. I feel terrible for him and there’s fa I can do about it.

Im glad I’ve never given him any stick, always had a soft spot for him. Quite a few on the Panther forum are the same.

Im glad you’re Ok. We all try to tough things out.

Im the worst offender.

Todays snippets from the press.
Scott Fulton signed from Manly - currently ‘recruitment guru’ according to buzz.

Nofa started singing the Storm victory song last night.

No mention whether Api and Paps started singing their previous clubs song as well?
