Definitely in the top 5 white centres of all time. Maybe top 3 and possibly a top 30 centre.

Gaz was awesome, but the best ever not in my opinion although had he stayed injury free and had a better attitude (earlier career) there is no telling how good he could of been but from 2004-2006 he was unstoppable.

Great player who got cut down by injuries, poor decisions and of course the 'Brown Polish' (I mean moving him to 5/8 ffs).

Loved watching him in full flight but that was a rare thing.

That Dragons 05/06 side must be one of the biggest underachievers the game has seen.

Would rank in my top 3 due to a little bit of bias. The other 2 centres in that top 3 would be Renouf and Inglis.

That ive seen play a game a football? Easy... some of these are curtosy of my grand fathers extensive tape collection which i watch all the time growing up... off the top of my head, the following players are all players id take over Mark Gasnier at centre in their prime.

Meninga, ET, Miles, McGaw, O'Neill, Renouf, Daley, Kenny, Inglis, Lyon, Hill, MacGregor, Fittler, Girdler, M.Gidley, Hodges, Cooper, Shearer, Tahu, P.Jackson, M.O'Conner

Im sure people will chime in with a few rather notable players ive managed to forget

imo he is the best I've seen and easily the most gifted.

Could have also been so much better.

Even given that you've only watched Dragons training videos since 2000 and no other rugby league footage of any games at all, which I suspect may be the case, then even still, Matt Cooper was a better centre than Gasnier in my opinion.
