I was gutted today after our loss but this has made me laugh. Jokes aside, Cronulla are the real deal this year.

So as a sucker for punishment I had to at least watch the highlights as I can't at this stage bring myself to watch the whole game and you have forgot to mention that Gaz is credited with our 2 try assists! You also forgot to mention that he was very unlucky to not score our 1st try thanks to one of those 'obstructions'. Now, I know you will say Aitkens try should not have been deemed an assist but didn't he just do what we have all been calling for and giving quality early ball to our centres? And the 2nd was a quality ball again on a wrap around.

As to blaming anyone, please feel free to highlight when I have blamed Benji or any other player? I may have blamed Rein at times but never have I blamed Benji or any other player minus Rein. The blame for all our woes lays at the feet of Doust and Mary. No one else. For the most part I believe we have the cattle just not the coach. On a side note, suggesting Widdop is out the door and on the open market wouldn't attract plenty of interest from the best coaches in the game is ridiculous. Another occasion you cannot get past your blatant bias against him.

Hello Minh. How are you this evening? I have stated several times that it isn't his mistakes that worry me. It is his playmaking inability which is a massive problem considering that is what he is in the team to do. There is no better evidence than the attack this season. Time for McCrone and Benji to get a chance to see what they can do.

I think Widdop has gone backwards since becoming Mary's on field general . I think he is the one who has to try and implement Mary's game plan and he has been the most affected by it .

We actually have a much better roster than last year and have some very good footballers but until our D grade coaching staff is removed we won't see the best of anybody .

Widdop is a good player but isn't a 5/8 or half so he should be moved on to get players who are.

The expectation on Widdop to achieve is so great yet the ability of some around him is so limited that it all implodes as does Widdop.

The talk that we have a strong roster I find interesting as I wouldn't see too many of our current players getting poached and upgraded by another team let alone attract big TPA's.

I think the truth is we over rated many players we had and also those who came and we have found out the horrible truth is that many lack natural ability and instincts and the coaching staff can't teach them anything that will improve their game.

Yes some have stood out (Dugan & Aitken in particular) but in all honesty it wouldn't take too much for anyone to look the standout in our team.

Widdop is definitely performing well below his best and it is concerning as we may never see the best of him with the lunatics running the so called game plan and attacking structures.

I am sure if Widdop went to another team with slightly better cattle and an attacking mind set he would carve up against the likes of us.

Good to see you up and about.

I'm going OK just started a new course of treatment which should have an upside but definite down side as 2 beers a week is the absolute limit.

The trouble with being sober is that the footy we play looks even worse.

Have to say we have been through all this depressive type of football before where we we are really just short of being a good side but light years away from being a great side.

For all the moaning going on the reality is we probably missed opportunities in the late 90's and 2011 to add to the tally of premierships but with the lot we have on the books at the moment hopefully we last long enough to see a turn around in 3 or 4 years.

But he ain't now, and I have been watching his rubbish for 2 yrs .

Mary reminds me of when Craig Young coached us for a short time... way back, and the club sacked him.

No strong game plan, no attack, very few tries, and a boring footy style.

I am pretty confident that given a good coach who talks Widdops language, that Widdop would come good... very fast.

Poor coaches have a demoralising effect on players and teams.

I saw Widdop play vs NZ in our off season, he was good, and POM's won series 2 to 1.

Widdop is no hack.

Just needs some smart support above him....with him.

Agree, Widdop is no hack and he looks lost in our structures, I "too" have been supporting the team for decades....:x
