No comment on his pass for KFFL's try?

I'm sure that omission wasn't intentional.

Good pass. Good combination with Benji. That (passes like that but not necessarily leading to a try) shouldn't be an aberration, as it is, it should be standard.

And I don't have an issue with that mistake. I wouldn't even have a big issue with his stepping out of the way of enemy runners if he weren't captain. What I do have an issue with is his playmaking ability or lack thereof.

So I have upped his ball playing ability from 1.0/10 to 2.0/10 due to that good pass for the second try.

I have however downgraded his composure due to several mistakes in the second half, and downgraded his leadership, toughness, and tackling due to his stepping out of the way of enemy runners. As a result he has gone from 2.9 to 2.6/10.

This is who McGregor described as "a marquee player" only 2 weeks ago. The poor guy has lost his mind.

Several halfbacks have been tried since Widdop came and none of them have combined successfully with Widdop. So what is the solution rocket scientists?

The Vas and Ruby play pen going off as usual with the exact same rhetoric. Must have really enjoyed that match. Thankfully, I had other commitments and missed another inept performance. Pity Doust didn't use last weeks 'indescretion' to fix the real problem with our team.

Lucky that. Now I can't expect you to modify your rating as you didn't see the game:eek:. You will just have to take my word for it, as you should have in regard to Kurt Mann. Widdop was again, very, very poor. Not as bad as he was against the Broncos but equally bad as he was against the Shonkies and Cowboys. And if McGregor gets rid of Benji but keeps Widdop, BennyV and I are going to drag him by the ears to an asylum for the criminally insane:cool:.

So Widdop actually had a good game? Because we all know you hold zero credibility and are completely unable to form an unbiased opinion.

No, he didn't. Though the good news is that Benji played so you and the rocket scientists can blame Benji for Widdop's ineptitude. Makes sense, doesn't it:??

Correct me if I am wrong...how many games have we won with Benji playing this year? I believe zero. You do the maths.

Right on cue:cool:. So you are saying today's loss was Benji's fault? Or that Widdop was better than Benji today?

Did I Blame Benji..NO...Only stating that with Widdop and McCrone we have won 4 games. With Benji and Widdop we have won Zero.

You draw your own conclusions. The above Facts speak for themselves.

That may be true, but I thought Benji tried his guts out today. He picked his moments to get involved and looked dangerous. For a guy coming back from a hammy, he had zip and energy.

Unfortunately, he almost played a lone hand today. We were diabolical.

So, yes...Benji has yet to taste a win this year, but today had nothing to do with Benji, his combination with Widdop or whatever. It had to do with an extremely poor performance by almost everyone around him.

So you would drop Benji and go with Widdop and McCrone?

The club has clearly said that our Future lies with Widdop. Whether I agree or disagree is a mute point. It seems that Benji and widdop as a combo is not working. Benji on his day is an incredible footballer but in saying that he is at the twilight of his career and it seems like he is not attracting many contract offers from other teams (according to the press).

Our current side has many issues. The above combo being one part of the equation. McCrone simplifies our attack and plays more direct so I would probably go with McCrone for this reason.

That being said..McCrone and Benji are not long term solutions. Our biggest problem is our coach way above and beyond our playing roster.
Under a different coach I am sure that Widdop and Benji would click, but we don't have that luxury.

Really? Who said that? I predict Widdop will follow McGregor out the door this season. And the purple devils will say he is a superstar, marquee player, someone with whom a team can be built around but won't pick him up even with Dragons paying half or more of his salary. In the purple devils end of season coaches party, through fits of laughter, Bellamy is going to say "and then I told them he is a superstar but we can't afford him."

Anyway, let me ask you again, are you in favor of dropping Benji and have McCrone and Widdop in the halves?

Did you read my reply...I answered your question with courtesy. I am not interested in debating your agendas. On Widdop, the Club when making him Capt stated that they see him as being a future leader for years to come at the club. Again, whether I agree or not is a mute point.
