Ruby, ybur not long till we get to "BURY"
Just when I thought it couldn't get any weirder, the trippy old dude is at best, expressing hope that "ybur" dies for being critical of Widdop. At worst it could be considered a death threat.

One can only live in hope . However in this particular instance , perhaps cremation would be more preferable , as it is permanent , forever , for eternity .
What a lovely thought !
And then this genius endorses that and calls it "a lovely thought."

WTF is going on with this forum and Gareth Widdop? Incredible! The trippy old dude doesn't count but someone like BennyV obviously isn't an idiot yet his loyalty to Widdop is unwavering. I can only come to the conclusion he has a vested interest.

You wish Mr Gareth. I have been a dragons supporter since 1968 when i was in year 8 at hurstville school. I saw players who bled for us, Smith, Wittenberg, Rasmussen, Changa, Preston, and hundreds more since then. Dont be a turd and say Widdop is any good. He isnt. If he was a local boy i might not be so outspoken, but signing up with us as a suposedly very good player, only to be shown up as weak link and weasel on the field, he lost me in mid 2015. I rate him 2 /10. If you believe he is an average or good player that is your right. But if you believe that, you must come from netball or girls guide background, or come from Mars. Widdop is the biggest let down and softest coc* i have seen in our colours. That is my opinion and i am entitled to it, as you are Mr Mars / netball

I accept Widdop does have some good games but overall he has been abysmal. If the team is to achieve its potential then a dynamic 5/8 is needed who can read the game. We have spent a fortune on Hunt and I don't think this was a mistake. The mistake will be if we think that Widdop is going to be the halves partner to set the team on fire.

PS: I don't dislike him as a person (I've never met him) but as a 5/8 he is not what we need.

Fook ! Fook ! Fook ! I now realise whom you are ! I was at Kogarah that very same day .
Your that little Fokker I hit in the head with a full beer can ! Remember , you kept on clapping your little hands and screaming " Saints , Saints , great try "

The fact that the try was scored by Newtown , did not seem to matter one little bit to you .
I felt so guilty about hitting squarely on the old nuggar , however I realised that if you thought the opposition team was St.George ( even though they were playing in a blue fooking jersey ) then you must had already been mad .

Carry on the good work , ybur - Glen 01 - Sigturd - Vailesky etc. etc . As you do entertain us . :p
That ill fated aim of yours has a whole lot to answer for Gareth.

With the forward pack, mostly already under contract and with a few more good forwards coming through, and Hunt, this team only needs a decent 5/8. Hopefully Field but Mann also a possibility along with Duges re-signed and 2 more outside backs, one for Nighty and one for Lafai. Dufty or one or two of the other young outside backs coming though.

So the 5/8 is a shootout between Mann and Field (but I wouldn't write off Dufty for 5/8.).
Re-sign Duges and Milne.
Herbert and/or Garrick and/or Thompson and/or Dodd and/or Dufty to make a successful transition to the NRL. A lot of uncertainty but this is a distinct possibility and would be a very hard team to beat.

In 1968 there was no such thing as year 8.
I take it you actually meant 2nd form high school as primary went from kindy to 6th class and high school went from 1st form to 6th form.
If that was the case you would have been 13 -14 years old when you started following them.
Seams extremely odd especially as the glory run finished in 1966 when you would have been 12 and you would have had ample time to follow them for several years in the great run.
Having gone to Hurstville Primary myself I know how fanatical the entire school was about the mighty dragons and having had friends at Hurstville High at the same time you were there it seems odd that you became a supporter so late in life.

Even though I have a boat, more fishing gear than you could imagine I am not a good fisherman but do have fun hooking a few minnows in here from time to time.
By all means PM with a few spots if you have them always keen for a days fishing.

This thread is getting mighty confusing with claims that Vaselinesky, Glenn20 and jibberer are the same person! Bizarre
If it's confusing for us how do you think it is for them with all those bells, whistles, sirens, alarms, sky rockets all going off at the same time in the 1 head.
