The issue in Rav's last incident appeared to be the timespan between shoulder impact and the introduction of BOTH arms.

Given then that the precedent has now been set that there is a threshold measured in milliseconds between an acceptable shoulder-led tackle and one that is not acceptable, the only evidence the MRC had available to make such a concrete determination in Olam's instance is the logo on his jersey.

Let's face it, we don't have much luck with the refs, bunker, MRC, Judiciary.

I guess that if the latest Rava suspension was Rava's first offence, he would have probably only got fined or 1 week, but that wasn't the case as we know.

Olam - Olam - Olam , the name is not difficult to pronounce , yet not one of those bigoted 9 commentators mentioned him nor the tackle itself . It was as if they were broadcasting from a tomb - eerily quite , you could hear them breathing , yet they said absolutely nothing.

Welch’s tackle on Walker was worst as he went everywhere but the legs , undoubtedly head contact to the highest degree , but as the ref said to Tedesco “ there was nothing wrong with the tackle , end of story “ .

As to Olam’s tackle as already said by others the tackle itself was a reflection of Ravawala’s , perhaps slightly different , however the ref was in no doubt as to its legality as apparently were the idiots in the commentary box and bunker .
