you're all forgetting that this bloke fired us up for the Storm game LOOOOL!!!!
Made the entire team sh*t their pants over losing and what do you know? IT WORKED!
Hopefully what he said bout Tahu gets to him and we see Tahu get to some of the form he had in him before leaving for Union.

oh FFS - what is it with NSW and legends bagging out current players. The FOGS have only just learnt to stop criticising the team in the media..!!
Pricey!! pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease buddy, get a new mobile number!!

tbh Tahu deserves it. About time someone within the club called a spade a spade. He put himself ahead of the team on Monday night, and that warrants the criticism IMO.

Guys sincere question and not a trolling one, but is it just me or was Tahu playing for a suspension, he would have known the consequences and I deadset think he just wanted some time off and to get out of the spotlight.

Must admit i wondered the same thing myself

Um I think that they boys would have been fired up for the Storm game with or without Derryn Hinch, I mean, Ray Price shooting his mouth off.

BTW, isn't it time that the Chairman of the PDRL told his board member to use some gaffer tape on his gob ?

We shouldn't lose fact that despite what happened on Monday night Timana Tahu is NOT the bad guy in all this.

Yes, he shouldn't have done what he did and deserves suspension, but it does not detract from what happened in the lead up IMO.

He clearly wasnt right and had a heap of built up frustration (understandable) probably shouldnt have played. And, if he didn't play, he would have been slammed by the keyboard cowards on here....

No he isn't the bad guy at all and in terms of the big picture he is doing the right thing in regards to racial issues.

BUT, he did let his teammates down on Monday and he does need to get over it when he is at training and on the field. So Ray is on the money there.

As for people talking to the media, you should all thank your lucky stars that they do.

exactly...

maybe an off field incident involving a domestic dispute, drunken asult or substance abuse improve his image...

it's a really sad world we live in when this guy is now seen as the bad guy..

So is it possible to support Timana's decision in regards to Johns but still think he was a selfish twit on Monday night?

Because that's how I feel about it.

He is being portrayed as the bad guy in some sections.

Attention has gone away from the racial issues and is now on T and his actions

Yes, he did let his team mates down, but there is simply no need for rent a quote pricey to come out and keep it all going and keep the focus on Tahu.

As for people talking to the media, you should all thank your lucky stars that they do.

There are times when discretion and not saying anything is the better option.

Something Pricey should learn to realise.......

Not really. There is certainly some focus on his actions as there always are when a player is suspended, but the racial issues are still being worked on with Timana, the NRL, the indigenous council etc etc. It hasn't been forgotten.

Sure, in the background, but what's the focus of the tele today?

Racial issues? No, Tahu.

What's the tele headline say?

'Stop Sulking'

with a poll on their website

'should timana tahu just get on with life'

and what about that rot written by Dean Ritchie?

Timana Tahu should not have walked out on the Blues.

It's big of a bloke called dean ritchie, who is whiter than me to say how someone like T should act when confronted with racism in his workplace. I'm sure it's something Ritchie has had to deal with countless times :sarcasm:

in amongst all the anti Tahu stories, they do have one in his favour by Walshaw, but they're clearly making Tahu the issue

Today they are, but for two weeks they didn't.

Has that conveniently slipped your mind?

As I said, the issue has moved on to Tahu who is now being portrayed as the bad guy in some sectors, ie telegraph. They've got Tahu 'sulking'. Asking if he needs to 'get on with life' and saying he shouldnt have walked out.

Still, I wouldn't expect you to say a cross word about the tele.....

And I would expect you to say plenty.

Funny, I could have sworn it was Ray Price that said he was sulking.

I agree with you re: Ritchie's opinion piece though. But hey, it's one opinion piece from one journo - hardly enough to suggest there is suddenly a media campaign against him.

The Tele needs more Nick Walshaw, less Dean Ritchie.
Nick reports on the positives of League...
Reminds me of the little kid who came home from pre-school and told his mum that everyone, bar him, laughed loudly when a kid fell off a chair in class.
"Why didn't you laugh mate," his Mum asked.
"Because I was the one who fell off the chair".
Same with Timana. It is easy for me (us) to be blaise` and critical of his stance. It wasn't me who was being abused.
I am very sorry now for posting Timana should not have walked out of the Blues camp, BEFORE I knew what it was all about. A good lesson for me not to go off without knowing the facts.

The D.T. has rubbished him at every opportunity.

Is that you Des Hasler?

You remind me of any given NRL club. A journalist could write 35 glowingly positive stories on a club and never hear a word but as soon as one negative story is written half the club jumps on the phone to yell abuse.

The Ando should send the Tahu to Westmead Childrens Hospital for the next 4 weeks to get a massive reality check as to what a real problem is.
