How is Edwards going in Reggies? Haven't seen a reserve grade game in months.

Going good but still needs time to develop.

CHN is just outstanding and should be in firsts soon.

Big danger game for us this week.

Our forwards were btfo by the bunnies and we looked really soft at times.

Just have that feeling Tedesco will have a blinder and we will give away a billion stupid penalties.

Still if Bryce and Moylan and Merrin can carry us we are a chance.

Latu needs to run a lot more instead of trying to be Bryce II

Matagi is losing his form as the season goes on. Need new blood there.

Edwards has been solid in cup from what I've seen. Agree that he needs some time to develop, he's a bit like Moylan, a 5/8 in the juniors playing FB now, will end up a similar size as well I think.

would be the way to go ^ just make sure he's up to it

From Michael Chammas SMH

He is expected to slot into the team for Saturday night's clash against the Wests Tigers, having spent part of his first session with the Panthers training at left centre. He has got plenty of raw talent, but weighing just 83 kilograms, Hardaker will need to get used to the physicality of the front line given he has spent most of his career at fullback

Maybe he just thinks leaving the spine alone and then slotting Martin in at 5/8 is the way to go. If Martin and Cleary weren't around it would be a no brainer but it's not like it's a simple decision now.

I agree with him. We finally have our attack going why change it?

Griffin really, really hates the idea of Moylan at 6, doesn't he?

I'm not sold on the idea of Moylan at 6 yet either. At fullback he can pick and choose his moments and inject himself when he likes.

We could even try having Moylan play at 6 in attack and Hardaker as the free roaming ball running FB. I don't watch much ESL but the half dozen Leeds games I have seen he looked decent. Tom Briscoe looked the goods too.

Moylan needs to improve his positioning when the grubber kicks are coming through. He doesn't have to get into the field of play, just stop some of the soft tries some opposition teams are getting, although the 2nd Burgess try I blame mostly on Wallace's lack of foresight in defense.

Would that change with someone else in FB though? If the FB defending in the line is a tactic. Then won't matter who is there that same problem exists

I read this as well but I don't get it he isn't soft defensively that for sure. Taylor is exactly the type of defender we need to clean up our middle.

if you watch him. He doesn't make many 1 on one clean tackles. Not saying I don't agree with you just I can see why the coach thought that

The one on one clean tackles is an art of the past.

The modern day player is so big, so strong, so mobile and fast if a fullback is called upon to make a one on one tackle to save a try then good luck. This past week of footy I'm sure there were numerous instances including Coote, Brett Stewart and others who weren't able to make try saving tackles.

Moylan can tackle but close to the line, one on one, he is as susceptible as almost all other fullbacks in the comp.

We should win this. I would be running Cartwright at Brooks and Moses all day long. Neither of them can defend nor can Naiqama.

I could be wrong here, but I think franklin was referring to ET, not Moylan.

I have a feeling that this game may decide who starts in the number 1 for NSW game 3 origin.

I actually think Tedesco offers a lot more as a fullback than Moylan but still don't think Moylan will get dropped from the Blues as he hasn't done anything drastically wrong in his two games.
