I had flashbacks today.
This is how we use to play.
Stupid penalties and drop balls.
Makes you appreciate how far the club has come.
We are now 4 wins ahead of the 2nd place team.
Bring on the finals.

Did you used to do a lot of physidelics? I remember dropping LSD a few times in Panthers in my younger years.

Gotta give a wrap to Ivan putting Kenny back at dummy half at the time he did. You can see the Api influence on him although sometimes comical. Also Salman he is our Mr fix it and he is good value, pretty much won us that game

They need to give less silly penalties but otherwise Kenny won't let us down. Luke should've had more time. Jennings can go now if he wants. Staines is just getting better and better.

Yeah he needs to cut the errors. A dangerous running game is a luxury we can and must do without with so much of our cap tied up elsewhere. He needs to provide dependable predictable service to our better players, defend reliably and otherwise become anonymous. The problem with Egan and Katoa is that our play makers and runners didn’t know what they were going to get running into the ball.

Kenny does also tend to make the right decisions as far as who should get the ball and when he can and can’t run himself.
Excellent assesment. He isn't Api and never will be, so we just need to get the best possible version of Kenny and learn to deal with it.

If anyone here thinks that we can be a force with Mitch Kenny as our starting 9 next then think again. He did 1 good thing all game, pass to JFH to score. Other than that he is terrible.
Not sure what Ivan was thinking either playing Jennings. I get we were very inexperienced, but FMD. He is going to the Dolphins.
Turuva or Jenkins are here long term, give them a go. We might as well play all the players who may be needed later on this year, Jennings has played First Grade before.
Hardest game to watch in about 3 years..
No argument from me although we have to be mindful that bringing players into grade before they are ready isn't the way to go. I'm sure that given the track record over the past few years, the coaching staff know when it is time for a player to get time in 1st grade.

Anyway a bit of a bludger, but obviously great to win. At the ground I thought we looked comfortably the more dangerous, but our goal line defence was poor and our right edge got carved. Staines was great with the ball though, theres plenty of clubs he'd do a solid job for. I'd love to be able to keep him.

Neither Hooker really impressed me, but Luke didn't have much opportunity. Kenny played ok in patches but made some dumb mistakes. His service isn't "crisp" either, its variable at best. Looks like we're going to have to make do with him I suppose.

Enough has been said about Rennings. Dude is built like Tarzan but he's not playing like it.

There really is something about O'Sullivan. Love the way he engages the line, creates so much space and was a the heart of much of worked well for us today. Very interested to see how he goes at the Dolphins, though it might be tough playing behind an average pack.

Fmd we just got through Origin and were 8 f**king points clear. Wtf is this reality?

Two schools of thought. A)He doesn’t want him. B) Managing a young guy in a tough position. I hope it’s B but A is plausible also.

Watching him and Sorrenson and I feel like Sorrenson is a better player tbh.
Spencer may not be as suited to the new rules as much as your more mobile and faster props. I wonder if he dropped weight how he'd be in the 2nd row? I'm guessing his defense would be exposed. But if anyone could replicate Kikau as a damaging edge he would be my pick.
