I'm not disputing what you are saying, butI don’t think I can remember a game where coaching literally affected the result.
That was mind boggling.
in what way did Arthur's coaching affect that game do you think? (I have my own views.)

Too and Henry basically dropped balls over the line...could've been a lot worse. The reluctance and/or ineptness to shift Dylbro to left centre is defence shows how much lacking the coach and his staff on reading the game.Penrith looked a bit cooked. Completed at 65%.
They also didn't score another point once Tulagi went off injured. Coincidence? Don't be a peanut.
Overall we went ok. But unsure if scoreline reflected game. They made 9- 3line breaks. We arent that far away but side needs tweaking.
Joe O should be used as bait for a class centre. I see little from this guy. Why do people thing the tigers where keen to release
Great post and well thought through...The NRL need to jig the rules for 18th man activation. I am suggesting that if you lose a player to a foul play like last night who plays in your 1-7 starting side you can also activate your 18th man player.
No side is replacing their 1-7 or faking it to get an interchange like they may try in the forwards.
And this isn't just due to Simmonson. I've seen game before where they've been disadvantaged due to a foul play.
I also think that this 18th man should be allowed on while the HIA is being assessed for 15mins.
It's common sense they change his rule.
Agree. I thought we did extremely well under the circumstances. We desperately need a left centre of some class. And speed. Things may have been very different with Simmonson out there. But we STILL need another back. When Sivo comes back and Simmo back in the centres we might just scrape by.Seems like I’m the only one who seems positive after that haha. Great effort from the boys, bring on next week. We are shaping up for a big season.
Always was one just an uglier one now with a shaved head that looks voldermort.Edwards is turning into a grub too.
Imagine if you ever got to touch a pair of boob's that aren't your own.Imagine if Penrith actually played good and didn’t bomb 4 tries.
Unless we have some up coming outside back and big forwards talent in the presidents cup that are on the rise then I agree. It is a squad lacking the attack needed. This team will be lucky to make the 6.
Coaches will stay up until 4 in the morning working on ways to cheat that. The NRL need to jig the rules for 18th man activation. I am suggesting that if you lose a player to a foul play like last night who plays in your 1-7 starting side you can also activate your 18th man player.

What would you have done?Who's saying that??? But after 38 mins of watching Tago tear us to shreds surely something needed to change at half time??? Lussick looked shot after 30 mins anyway.
Surely blind Freddie could see Kelma in the centres wasn't working??? The bloke was our least mobile bench forward and he's the one Supercoach decided to stuck out there. Surely Matto or Carty would of been a better option??? Hands to defend at 6 while Dyl defended in the centres???What would you have done?
Brad won't, it's not his job.Coaches will stay up until 4 in the morning working on ways to cheat that.
Never tear us apart unless when you put Kelma in the centres.
Fair enough. I'm perplexed about Hands not being used (as replacement for a tiring Lussick). But Carty and Matto were doing a job in the forwards, and we needed them there.Surely blind Freddie could see Kelma in the centres wasn't working??? Thats right it's not the coaches job to worry about moving players around after an injury.
Kelma could of done a job in the forwards and there is no doubt Carty or Matto would of been a much better option out wide. Arthur's coaching last night was absolutely embarrassing and it's amazing the dribble people are willing to post to defend him.Fair enough. Bar the dropped bomb Russel impressed me. Carrys the ball strongly
