Brown ended up defending in the centres towards the end of the game. He still played in the halves in attack, Cartwright defended at 6. It should have been done after the 4th line break caused by kelma.

Sivo and Simonsson unavailable. How good is the sixth best outside back at every other club? I reckon they're about as good as Dunster and Cini. Lumelume was sixth best at Melbourne in 2021. Good players don't want to go where they're stuck in reserve grade while waiting for an injury or suspension at their position.

The issue is Simmonson and Harper are our 5th and 6th best.

I don't think many have complained about Hands service from dummy half being average in 12 months since his debut.

Where did you come up with that conclusion.

If you saw our 2 x attacking set with 7-8 mins to go. Lussick burnt about 3 plays one of them he was exhausted and took the tackle.

I thought Joey had a decent game other then 1 or 2 miss tackles with the leota try but Hands should have been on a lot earlier to give us some fresh spark around the ruck.

Didnt BA say at halftime we still need to chase points and be attacking while in front.

I would have thought bringing on Hands and adding some spark around the ruck would help that.

Yep another brain dead decision throw it in with all the other stupid ones some players have made in the past 18 months at this club.

No wonder his efforts are so lazy.

He knows the pure garbage we have as outside back depth BA will never replace him while he is fit and available for selection.

You need a lot of things to go your way to beat the champs.

We just had too much go against us. From the start losing a winger to a few 50/50 decisions that went against us.

Overall the standard from both teams I thought was high quality.

I thought we were brave and scrambled well.
Margin was probably fair in the scheme of things.

Bounce back next week and beat Manly at Home is crucial. As there one of the teams I reckon we will be fighting for a top 4 or top 6 spot so it's a bit of a 4 point game for mine.
