Players like Radradra, Toutai, Pauli, Junior and even Edwards have never played a full season in the NRL. Consistency will continue to allude them until they have played at the very least 50 games. Halves are also in a similar situation, they have to mature into the role. Ben Hunt is a prime example. DCE is as well but he was allowed to mature away from the spotlight in the Qld Cup. Norman is still maturing in to the playmaking role especially having spent most of the past season in Qld Cup and playing fullback.

The return of Mannah, Moimoi and Ben Smith will have a telling effect on our forwards over the next few weeks.

I reckon it could be a fun ride.

Mate the colts will go close too winning it and deff worth a sneakie $50. At great odds.
New England at 11-1 are interesting too.Tom Brady maybe last harrah?

Im a Phillies eagle boy. There high speed tempo hopefully gets them into play offs again. But yeah Colts will top group and maybe even first seed.

ben is still probably one of the best defenders in the club

I am probably wrong, but wasnt it ben smith with the ultra soft missed tackled in the middle of the field in the lead up to their try??

Looked like the staff have been trying to teach morgs how to pass, but not sure it worked. He passed late to Hayne and too early to Semi, but hopefully they keep working on him.

We shoul have won by 20, very disjointed and slack. Hayne fired up Morgs in the 2nd with a 'wake up' after the chip chase and pat back which should have been a try, but he and semi were asleep on the play.

Feels good to have played really poorly, and still won reasonably comfortably!!

Totally agree OMC. Got the cash, but were far from impressive. And send the Tits packing as they now have almost no chance of being a factor in the finals.

I recall was one Jnr Paulo. I rewound it to see who it was and it was a man of polynesian descent.

Most definitely not bagging the NFL, i love it! Can't wait for the pre-season to start and my team (Colts) to go at least one better than last year.

Fair enough, i saw those comments too and although he was quiet we don't know whether the game plan was for that as the whole team looked lost for a lot of the first half in attack, Arthur may have wanted Norman and Sandow to take control.

Once he actually injected himself we looked very dangerous, whether we like it or not he is the driver of our attack and we look much better when he is heavily involved.

No problems, mate!

I suppose the NFL is a bit more reliant on individual brilliance, and a lot of the crowd pleasers are showboats. Maybe Jarryd fancies himself a crowd pleaser? Lol

And I agree with the Hayne comments, but I didn't think he was bad in the first half - just quiet.

But he is definitely our main force.

Arthur said the same in the press conference - he said we bombed 5 to 6 tries

OMC u r right - ben smith was one of the players who got a hand on a tit when they scored a try up the middle - but i think it was really another players man to tackle and while you'd give em both a miss, the other guy f**ked up more .... and yeah I think yy is right, it was jnr paulo

We don't criticise Junior Paulo's defence because he runs the ball well and that's the only thing we really care about.

Ben Smith has only been back a couple of games, he is slowly getting match hardened

He will be crucial when we are in the semi finals, should be able to play more game time and will stiffen our middle third

Did anyone else see him get his nose splattered right at the end? Looked like an elbow or knee in the ruck, looked nasty.
