Some of the sides around us playing each other and a few sides off the pace virtually out of contention if they lose.

In our position all games are must wins at this stage, but against a struggle Bunnies side need to continue our winning momentum.

The 2019 team isn't fit to sit at the table of the 2025 team. Cleary, Edwards, Leota Kenny and Yeo were there but way before their best football. Some of them were babies practically.

I think it will be a tough encounter. Souths really aren't a bottom 4 squad. Plenty of danger players. Need to do our usual job on Latrell and watch their left side and we will get them.

I attended round one 2019. We played the Eels from memory (We lost). Hame Sele led our line speed in defence that day.

I saw Gus walk past the family hill during reserve grade too. Bloke had a grim look on his face. Couldn't help but think there was some turmoil going on after Ivan got reappointed. Then the whole Tyrone May scandal. I was pissed at the results but had no idea that was going on.

This team is a hardened one. So much experience and not just youth and talent. We aren't going to finish this year the same as 2019 (Unless its the final round of 2019 and we 50 a team).

Kenny on report but don't think he has much to worry about. Tago maybe not so lucky. Has 2 priors from round 22 last year which might bite him on the arse. I do think we need to respect our opposition and play our best available team.

Hes been doing the team song if late ive noticed. I wonder whether ivan has just pulled him aside and said he should be coming on as a leader of this team and given him more responsibility. His form, especially his defence of late has been very good.

I'd go Garner to right centre, Sorenson into left edge, To'o to continue resting, next game is a long turnaround so this would get him 2.5 weeks off. Maybe Edwards another week off given Laurie is hot and then Yeo & Cleary can each take a spell over the following couple games.
