THat's been the case since Hayne left. We rely too much on the bombI am concerned about our ability to grab points when we are in the red zone. We play like we have NFI. Um let's try this. No. Ok this. Good teams come away with points on almost each time they get down there. Comes down to the rookie spine really. 1, 6 , 9 and often 7 are not making the right calls and they are not playing like a well drilled unit. Unlike Roosters and Storm (benchmark) who strike like they have done it 100's of times before.
Lots of wrist slitting by the usual suspects. Raiders were very good at rucking it our of their end and getting a kick in, good chase followed by good defence. Not rocket science.
We can fix that.

Dont kids yourself bunch of peanuts.
Storm have 3 guys on over 1 million dollars.
Add the best prop in the game who would comand 700k and an Australian centre plus munster vunavullu and a few other hot young prospects.
If any team in history can fit 3/4 of the australian spine in there side id be shocked.
Kaysa played well - made 45 tackles and missed 6 while norman made 17 and missed the same amount 6. One guys on 750+ and the other maybe 150.
Matagi also missed 4 along with Gutherson and Semi.
Kaysa was not to blame for last night loss.
Agreed he hasn't been quite as good since his ankle injury. So either our hooker shouldn't be getting isolated as much as he is (as you indicated) or our hooker needs to learn how to hit and stick because seven missed tackles in consecutive weeks is UNACCEPTABLE
Whoever isn't bringing in millions in 'legal' TPAs.Whose fault is it?
They're only slightly misleading.See how stats can be totally misleading?
Could be shit weighing on his mind. Though I didn't think he was that bad. Leilua draws a lot of defenders, and Rapana breaks plenty of tackles.Watching the game again. Seriously how bad is Semi ? He was the worst player on the field. All the tries in the first half were made due to his lack of urgency and the lack of synergy with Jennings.
Its all Max's fault, we should of kept the old board.Whoever isn't bringing in millions in 'legal' TPAs.
It is all Max's fault. Sorta. But there were plenty of others at fault who led to this. With Max we're more likely to get a professionally run club, which means less scandal, but we're also going to spend less on the team. Which includes TPAs. Because at their core they're all a rort. And I don't see the incentive for Max to flout the letter of the law.Its all Max's fault, we should of kept the old board.
I don't think they targeted our left side so much as they played to their strength, which is their long right side.I'm very concerned about the defence out wide, teams this year seem to go around Parramatta easily. They've targeted Takarangi and Hoffman's side, but last night it was Semi and Jennings.
Any proof they weren't legit???Pretty sure the old board weren't bringing in 'legit' TPAs either. They're only 'legit' if you get away with it.
'Proper TPAs' are as rare as hens teeth. Some actually exist but if they make up even 1% of accepted TPAs I'd be surprised. It's just a 'see no evil, hear no evil' tactic.Any proof they weren't legit???
The problems started when the new board weren't capable to source any new TPA's after Spags and his Cowboys were punted. His merkin mates pulled their support and TPA's when he got rissoled
Considering they were failed plumbers and used cars salesmen we shouldn't really be shocked. And what's to stop the new board to source proper TPA's???? They would of been brought in for that exact reason.
