Rd 9 v Nth Queensland. Paul Green Medal

Apparently Nicho again he is heads and shoulders above others.

He gave his jersey to Paul Greens daughter, and the medal to his son.

That's just class total pure class
He is worth every cent the Club pays him and more. The Club have their culture leader, marketing image and on field leader all in one package. There would be a lot of Clubs very envious now that he’s a Shark and how he has transformed the team and Club in so many ways. It’s great that we have one of the media darlings for once.

That he is.

Will attract youngsters and punters alike well into the future to become supporters of the club, new sponsors will want to get on board, the positive list will continue to grow along with our revenue and hopefully the trophy cabinet.

About time really, it sucked being a supporter of a club precariously poised, looking towards oblivion, plus the drama that followed us like bad juju for many years. Some of that was warranted some wasn't, in the end looks as though we've landed on our feet.

If only we had a stadium worthy of all the other improvements
Well if there is one thing we know about politicians they like to be on winners Nicho would be a good sporting identity to be aligned with, just maybe that will help with getting upgrades to the stadium

I think more to the point the development has ended any chance of good upgrades that fit in with the surrounds. We did it ass about and it’s too late now. Toilets and change rooms that’s it.

The experience last night was better than usual - probally as there was only 8,000 punters

5 match ban for Nanai. So looks like you’re wrong Todd
Some media are asking the same question of him now the judiciary are looking at a 4-5 match ban.
I think he let last year go to his head, which has filtered down to the team.
They were off from kickoff and their attitude and discipline is terrible

Did they extend him on the back of last year?

Did anyone else notice that - EVEN WITHOUT Toby and Finucane - we’ve been doing okay…?!?

Kaufusi starting and Hazelton on the bench seems to be working…

Kaufusi and BHU complement each other well. Kaufusi is a quality player doing his job at a high level with no fuss. He is a better allround front rower than Toby.

Dale will add an edge when he comes back. Williams getting some miles in the legs. Hazelton is learning.

Jesse C will be in the mix if needed as he gets some footy in NSW Cup.

Hunt is a bit up and down but he certainly has the ability make an impact.

Good teams need 8 NRL quality middles to cover the inevitable injuries and suspensions.
