Yep agree he was our biggest loss in the Brian Smith era along with Clinton Schifcofske i feel.

Lyon was playing for Australia at 19 and NSW at 20 and there were plenty of great centres at the time he beat to get into those rep sides at that young age.

I’m all for letting little contested bobbles like that go (although it again adds more subjectivity to reffing) but under current rule surely knock on. Could’ve been very different had they decided to not penalise Kikau (which I thought was weak penalty)

Jennings was way faster and far better acceleration. He was special.
I rate Penisini. Very good centre. I dont think he is in MJs class however. Peak MJ right now would be the best centre going around.
