Might be better in the long run to win a game that ugly first up.... But it shows were still nowhere near the Panthers and Storm level. Injury looks like cruelling the Storm's chances so unless someone else stands up, who can go with the Panthers?

Jake Arthur looks like a guy trying so hard not to make a mistake. He looks really unsure of himself and everything he does.

Don't want to pick on the bloke, but I don't think he's ready for first grade by any stretch...
Would've been good if we had more blokes not making mistakes. We had 46% of the ball in the first half. 64% in the second. Follow the f**king gameplan ffs

I feel like we just clocked off a fraction after getting that 26-12 lead. We just expected to win it 50-12 or something. There's some fight in these Titans.
Lesson learned hopefully.

Agree. He just shovels the ball on. No threat to run. Not drawing defenders.

Probably not entirely his fault. He is probably told not to overplay and he takes it too far

We were probably the better team for the majority of the match.

All you can do at this stage of the season is get the two points, but I'm not sure we don't get more out of the result going the other way in the end.

Hopefully we at least get a bit of a wake up call.

Surely Brown back next week, Niukore back will add a bit.

At the end of the day, you'd rather test the likes of Arthur now in round 1 and give experience. Injuries happen, we need back ups. To have backups who have actually played in the NRL, that's a good thing.

When did we buy him?
During the week. He played in our reserve grade side yesterday.

And we didn't buy him per se.... We gave the Tigers a 1988 Holden Camira and a 3 year subscription to Street Machine magazine to take him off their hands....
