No, it just means that any given game is out of the coach's hands. No coach wins every game. They don't even win every game they're expected to win.

Our 4 from 10 record this year is far more relevant than the result of a single game. If we'd won today we'd be 5 from 10. It's hardly any different, so there's no point whinging about this one game.

Lane needs to improve his ball control close to the line and we need to realise when we make a break on the 1st or 2nd tackle, we dont need to force the pass and try and score everytime. Just take the tackle FFS.

I think maybe Lane is a bit gun shy from the broken jaw, Drown probably needs to get him the ball a fraction earlier on those short passes 'till he settles back in.
