Seriously, one loss isn't worth kicking the dog over, any more than one win should have you booking World Club Challenge tickets. The Titans have played a few good games this year and that was one of them. They deserve credit for beating us by a goal. We'll be back.
6 months ago he wasn't the starting halfback of an NRL team. In fact, Foran, Campbell and Brimson were the most likely 1,6 & 7 ( not in that order) during the off season but Holbrook made a decision late in the pre-season to put Boyd at 7. Until that point he was used as a backup 9 and on that sort of money I'd assume (I'll invoke Pou's non-essential need to provide a source here). None of his achievements this season were widely forecast. Yes his next contract will be a healthy one but I'd suggest if you approached a backup hooker as he was last November and said well give you 300, or maybe 350, he'd have jumped at that.
I reckon Alex Johnson could give Frank Burge's record 8 tries in a match a shake up against Dunster and that right edge in a fortnight.

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't make the eight, but it's far too soon to give up hope just to avoid having your feelings hurt.
The point is if we miss the eight by two points it will be because of the 24 games we played, not this one.
My feelings aren't hurt. I'm just f**king angry. Especially our team selections and our lack of variety. I also am again starting to hate the coach and I despise Hodgson more than COVID lockdowns.
You do realise that this game is one of those twenty four, right?
But you make excuses for every f**king game we lose, so collectively it won't be because of any of our losses.
