Well you must, because you're saying our position on the ladder is all because of our defence. I just showed you that other sides with worse defence are higher on the ladder, so you're wrong. Maybe you can admit that luck actually is a factor instead of looking for a scapegoat when you're sad or angry.

We had some luck yesterday. Them making an error on first set and we score.
Dylan's throw the ball anywhere behind you and we scored
Guthersons little kick ahead and gets fingers to it.

Silly to suggest nothing went our way yesterday. We had a lot of luck.

Agreed, luck is always a factor. Gutherson sin bin trying to get to the ball, Moses kicking 1 from 4, Penisini's kick infield caught on the full by a front rower. They all add up to good luck or bad luck on the day.

Gutherson but was holding the guynin a try scoring position without ball. He most likely scores if Gutherson doesn't touch him.

If they're not close enough to the attacker to even touch him why would it be a missed tackle? This is why teams use decoy runners, to create space. That space is what you see when a defender doesn't get close enough to the attacker. If Davey had ignored Fifita's decoy run you would've seen Fifita get the ball and stroll straight through.
In baseball, fielding errors are only if at the point of misfield the player was physically in reach of the ball. So the guy who busts his ass to run 30m to make a sliding attempt to catch but bobbles it at end is charged an error, while the doofus who doesn’t even see the hit and jogs over to retrieve it while the batter rounds the bases, is not.
I don’t know where Davey’s missed tackle was but Foran definitely went through Davey’s area on their 2nd try. Some extenuating circumstances but still it’s as much if not more of a missed tackle than Drown missing the ankle tap on AKP on his intercept (although probably Drown also doesn’t register a missed tackle)

These things aren’t luck though? Or worst case the old “make your own luck” luck

Kelly’s error was luck and Drown’s was lucky for Drown but putting yourself into position to retrieve or kick loose ball isn’t luck

Right but we conceded two tries with him in the bin. I'm sure he wasn't trying to get sin binned, he was just thinking about getting to the ball. With better luck he would've given up on the play, not gotten binned and only conceded that one try instead of two.

Sure, but the point is Davey had to leave that gap to cover Fifita. With only 12 defenders we were caught short in the middle, which drew Davey infield. Our only hope of stopping that try was for Penisini and Dunster to come in together at just the right time and for the Titans to get it wrong. Unlikely with Foran's old head.

No different from hindyeleven's examples of good luck. But also, every time the ball hits the deck there is an element of randomness, as well as every referee call or non-call. You can't pretend the game is 100% deterministic. So with that randomness factor it's unlikely the good and bad luck will cancel out to exactly zero every game.

Even when these things do or don't happen carries an element of luck. For example, Moses kicked 7 from 7 last week and 1 from 4 this week. If he kicked at 100% this week and missed all seven last week we would've won both games (all else being equal).
