Ionghi
Samrani
Hawkins
Kautoga
Walker
Williams

They were all excellent in the system Ryles wants to play and they were all specifically recruited by Ryles

someone said we finally look like a properly coached football team and I agree.

There is really something building here relatively quickly - we are the return of two key players and a couple of pieces from having a contending team

And this team we will have the type of team prepared to win anywhere and anytime and will jog have to wait on favourable conditions, the rub of the calls or the opposition being off their game.

I’m Pumped!

In Ryles we trust!

Missing our two most important players (although Manly were also missing two stars), we stood up, and made a statement.

I'm so proud of this team.

And Ryles' investment in youth is paying off.

I think were closer to a comp under Ryles then what Manly are under Seibold and its awesome.

Manly have issues on the roster & still inconsistent 3 years into his tenure with no style or grit about them.

Scumbag Matt Lodge looked like he has been at KFC for 18 months and he had audacity to whinge about getting a pay upgrade the grubby prick.

Back on us i think the biggest thing is we look a happy football team and you still saw that early on in the year despite the losses.

As the weeks go by the trust and belief is building and our defence especially goal line defence is getting heaps better.

Would love to get a scalp across the next 2 weeks not sure we can win both but if we do gee we might be getting excited finals is a decent possibility all of a sudden.

Couldn't agree more, mate.

Our improvement has been amazing, and we still have a lot of growing to do.

I'm super excited to see what we achieved with Ryles.

A good win for sure last night but a bit surprised by the sudden level of positivity in here.

Sure we beat Manly without Momax but they weren't at full strength, have been out of form of late and Turbo is about half the player he normally is.

Did we look better and are we on the improve? Yes and yes, but there is a long way to go with this team before we should be getting too excited.

Yeah this surprised me too, its like one extreme to the other lol

They had a great win in Townsville last week, always felt they would be flat last night , they really put in v cows , but also have been hot and cold, with 5 of their main forwards out last night which is a huge loss

The way we carved up the middle multiple times just doesnt happen, for any side generally

Though its refreshing to see we played what was in front of us, instead of losing our marbles like we can do in the past . We just wanted it more, despite some hiccups early on with a rookie right edge defence of Hawkins, Samrani and Paps (who made his debut) thought we were composed and choked them out of the game. Just need to build on these last two weeks. Im proud and happy we belted Manly, but cautious at the road ahead in the short term. Long term I think we are heading the right way
