What a f**king win!! One of our best in years. We played hard, we ran hard and we tackled hard. It's amazing what can happen. Paulo where has that been??? Greig and Maka were outstanding and really stood up. Add in Moses and Brown totally controlled the game and it was very exciting!!

We need to back it up next week and we are somehow still alive in this comp, when Hands is on we look a totally different team ffs!!!

I'm liking what I see from Bryce. Unsure how he was dropped for Davey.

Weren't we winning when he came on?

I thought Hodgson was great last night. No discernible improvement when Hands came on.

Sure, Hands has looked better in a number of games this year, but were you possibly seeing what you set out to find in last nights game?

It was a 2 point game when Hands came on, 18 nil afterwards. I’m not saying it was all him but our attack does look must crisper when he’s at dummy half. I really think it’s time to limit Hodgos mins and give Hands more game time. Hodgson’s service is diabolical.

Yeah we haven't strung strong b2b performances all year.

It's time we actually find consistency we haven't had any for a while.

Even last year we couldn't string more then 3 wins in a row. We had one shocker per month.

In saying that we haven't copped a 13+ belting yet. So F/A is superior to the other mediocre teams around us to jump up.

But it shows merkins that whinge about our attack have no clue, and are just inventing shit to whinge about.

"We are not great at assessing our own abilities. Part of this ignorance of ourselves derives from cognitive biases and a defensive need to place ourselves in the best possible light. So we remember things we did well but forget what we did poorly. We also tend to overestimate our skills—especially when, in fact, we’re incompetent—and think we’re smarter than we are."

We've got the 5th best F/A in the comp.

wasn't confident going into this but what an amazing game

Dylbro, I wanna have his babies

Good to see Russell much more confident under the high ball and he got tested plenty of times, there may be a player there

huge game from Simonnsen, his best game for Parra, and a very big work rate

Mitch showed how much we missed him last week

Cartright's defense has improved dramatically, he is not the arm grabber he used to be, big game and plenty of involvement

Massive game from Jnr and Emu, big minutes and work rate from both, good support too from Maka and Ogden

Average game from Hodgson, which is an improvement, still a few arm grabs

Indigenous around obviously meant a lot for Hopgood and he had a huge game, ran out of gas at the end but understandably as his work rate in the first half was pretty high

Brilliant motivation from the bald one, what a coach

I don't think I have been prouder of our boys in quite a few years. All stood up against the odds. Especially all our weakling players who played strong and then allowed our strong players to play stronger.

Special mention for Greig, who was a colossal out there in the middle all night. What a game from the young man. He finally proved he has got it and can carry the ball tough. Sure the Bunny's were slightly down on their normal intensity and they were missing their main man in Burgess, but we were also down a few too, so he had to dig deep. For him to play all those extra minutes and do it so well was exceptional.

Now the litmus test for him is to back it up week in and week out. At least now we have all seen he has what it takes, leg drive, leg speed, power and stamina. So if he fails from here on in it is because of what is in between his ears and desire.

Also like I said, the lesser lights all stood up last night and players like, Russell, Simonsson, Makatoa and Ogden all were amazing and contributed so well for us to win and win so well. I was waiting for the heart break and was so tempted on many occasions to fast forward the game and save myself the anguish and despair of another capitulation, but I didn't and we just kept turning up in defense and scoring and we eventually nailed those arrogant Bunny's to the wall and won!!!!

Yeee Haaaa!!!!!!

Now can all our players do it again next week? I really hope so. I'd hate for our board to extent Potato Head for another 2 years again on just this one exemplary performance. It be like paying a prostitute for just taking off your clothes and then while you've turned your back, neatly folding them by the side of the bed, she does a runner.
