Two good packs for sure but we have them covered on the edges with Kikau and Martin imo. I like our bench a lot more also.

Right on all of that. They have nothing like May, Leota, Lenui, Tetevano. Our bench is starting quality really. The fact their biggest drop is after the first interchange is weird.

I say this every week but if we complete at 80 percent we should have enough good field position to come up with enough points even wit Dyl and Api out.

Easily. Nathan also has one of the best long kicking games in the comp so field position is always on our side. Teams simply can't get into an arm wrestle with Panthers.

Depending on who is available he might jag a bench spot. It would be well deserved.

It would have been deserved years ago. Yeo has always been a honest, hard worker, only difference is this year it has been recognized more.

The talk is starting so a good season now against top packs will get him on the bench for sure. Freddie loves honest workers like him.

Fingers crossed, Yeo deserves it.

It would be great to see Yeo’s consistent performances over his career rewarded even if I don’t think it will happen. He is one of those unsung heroes. Finger’s crossed and who knows what could happen if he stays fit and healthy, we make the 8 or even top 4 and go deep in the finals series. He may get a gig if some his main rivals don’t get to play finals footy.

I think the tigers just offered more money than we were willing to pay him, they are signing a lot of young players from other clubs, trying to a Ponga type signing i think. Besides Capewell we already have Kikau, Martin and Burns. Going all out on the young guys can be a slippery slope. The Broncos have the best young forward pack ive seen for a while(talent wise that is) and yet they are sucking hard.

Yes they paid 280k a season for one of our Props who hadn't played NRL

This. Not much point going hard for guys that are effectively depth guys here

Yeah you are 100% correct, I don’t like excluding people, but maybe the time has come.

I think regardless of who you may lock horns with at any given time there really is no need for the ignore function. I’ve never felt the need to use it and even for differences of opinion and even disdain between certain posters I still don’t feel the need to ignore anybody really. You and I for example locked horns sometime back, cant remember what the issue was but I respect your opinions and valued contributions on here even if we did have that issue in the past. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and move on. Maybe it was you, maybe it was me who cares really it is all about our team and club at the end of they day.

I would rather walker is in, cust seems to be in really good form.

Cust is playing very well which would mean Walker will play centre. He and Suli will give us some headaches but we handled Leulia well enough. Edge defence has been pretty good overall this year. We seemingly concede more tries through the middle when our forwards get tired. Maybe not more but they look far worse than the ones we concede on the edge.

Not upset about that, Parker is a better defender than Walker.

As much as I love Yeo, you're either picking him to play the majority of the game or you're not picking him at all. He's good for a ton of metered and tackles and has a nice subtle passing game, he's not a guy who's going to burst on 20 minutes in.

He really does deserve Cordners place but there's no world in which they drop the butt chin Jesus.

Personally, all Panther love aside and based only on current form, he should be NSW No.13.
Jake can battle Dale for the bench spot.
