We had Russell and Simonsson both on too much to sit in reserve grade. Plus Dunster who is also no doubt on too much not to be in the NRL side. You merkins whinge about cap management and in the same breath show you know nothing about it.Or hear me out...
Offer him a 2 year deal mid season before the riff sign him on a 1 year deal in September...
May Tago or
Penisini (No one)
Where was his best chance to get a first grade spot...
That’s because they already had Starling.

Actually, you're the one trying to have arguments, with posters who suggested our attack wasn't good in the loss to the Bulldogs. You’re the one picking ten minute periods to suit your argument ffs
Yes and Penrith still went and resigned for 2 years............

With the contract to suit that knowledge.Yes and Penrith still went and resigned for 2 years............
So your suggestion of a two year offer is meaningless. But he signed for 1 year at the riff instead...
lol nah it’ll be Brendan HandsBut the club did the right thing guys...
Wonder who is playing centre this weekend Lussick???
Ha he is 4ft tall. He needs a stool to climb into bed ffs.
The alternatives all played 80 minutes in reserve grade a couple of days earlier.26 players and Asi played centre last weekend
This isn’t the appeal to authority you think it is.Actually, you're the one trying to have arguments, with posters who suggested our attack wasn't good in the loss to the Bulldogs.
It certainly wasn't good in the second half - anyone who actually watched the game (and wasn't interested in clown debating) would agree.
These aren't the droids you're looking for... nice try, deflector boyThis isn’t the appeal to authority you think it is.
The point is you should only have 17 of them, at most. Dunster was a top 17 player when we signed him. The fact he suffered a catastrophic injury is just bad luck. It doesn’t mean we get to pay him less. We are stuck with him.So we signed a bunch of NSW CUP player and paid them top 17 money?
If our attack was good enough we wouldn’t have had to put ourselves under pressure to hold off the Bulldogs in the last 10 minutes. The game would have been over already. Don’t examine these things in a vacuum.lol we scored 26 points against the second best defensive side and somehow it’s proof our attack is poor? Merkin you’re cooked. Dominating possession is to help our defence, not our attack. We grind through the middle to wear the opposition down.
But the Bulldogs have the second best defence in the NRL. What were you saying about vacuums? If our attack was good enough we wouldn’t have had to put ourselves under pressure to hold off the Bulldogs in the last 10 minutes. Good on them. They had less possession and a man sent to the sin bin for this game. Why aren’t you taking that into account? Do you think that happens every week? We were a team fighting for our lives and had our halfback and fullback back but couldn’t finish them off. We aren’t in a position ti be patting ourselves on the back because we played a brave Bulldogs team with the second best defence. We needed to win but came up short. But the Bulldogs have the second best defence in the NRL. What were you saying about vacuums?
