These so called superstars want to get close to $1m a season but can't even ground a fkn ball over the line. Then watching reserve grade today as well was like geeeeeee help us. We have nothing. Zero fkn nothing. We have been nothing short of embarrassing against 2 sides who were coming last when they beat us. The sympathisers need to get real. The coach needs to go. I've seen enough. As a season ticket holder 23 years in a row I don't even want to renew next year already. I had more hope when we were going through our darkest days. Now we are kidding ourselves when we dish up diarrhoea like that. Epic fkn fail.
Do us a favour and hand over the coaching reins. You don't have anything left to give..go out with some dignity

There is lots in common with the games we've been up for, and there has been lots in common for the games we haven't been up for.

We’re cooked. I don’t blame BA’s strategy or tactics but the players consistently failing to stick those strategy/tactics is on him. We just aren’t football smart. Too many chiefs, not enough cooks

Bash and barge seems to have caught up with the team. Gutho seems to overplay his hand too.

He was ok. He certainly didn’t look ready for the 1’s. Solid but still looked slow in the 2’s

I wish our board had balls to sack our coach right now and try and appoint either Ciraldo or Flanagan.

Seriously, if they are expecting us to make or win the GF this season with this guy who has reached his peak and squeezed the lemon for all it's worth with these guys and his predictable tactics, then they are absolutely delusional and wasting all our time as another season goes by the wayside.

More heartbreak and misery is coming at finals time I'm afraid, even if we manage to make the semis and win a game or two.

That game was right there for the taking, but the boys had no clue as how to take back the ascendency and our coaching staff didn't have the chops to make them see how and believe that they could do it. More evidence of how desperate we are for a change in coach. NOW!!!

I think there’s something to this. Arthur’s gameplan has always been for big go-forward (‘chasing the collision’) and getting it to the halves to distribute (‘stick to our structures’). Mahoney’s game has always been a little bit hard to shoehorn into that, but it’s become worse this season. He’s overplaying his hand, and is trying to call the shots too much instead of getting it to Moses primarily to distribute. As poor as their service often was, Pritchard and De Gois used to do just that.

I am at the point where I honestly think we might be better off without him next year, but the concern there is that Hodgson has always tried to be a playmaker from dummy half instead of just distributing.

We had a few good games at the end of last season. Penrith finals and beating the Storm. But the last 10-12 games where average in 2021. Those two games kind of masked our flaws.

13 games in this year and had 2 good games against both those sides. Excellent wins. But they where 50/50.
Two very embarrassing losses against terrible sides. Diabolical sides. And one flogged us.
A few close wins against average sides.Scraped home against Titans twice. A few close losses to solid sides in Roosters,Sharks,Manly. A flogging against Cowboys.
We have hardly been great or consistent. Unsure how the season will finish. Could see us flicking a switch and being top 4. Could also see us falling apart and finish where I predicted them. 10th.

At least when we won our spoons a few seasons ago, our excuse was that our roster was garbage.

What's the excuse now?

We have a side with 3 current Origin players, 3 former Origin reps, and plenty of talent.

Plus, it's BA's side.
