Reckon next week looks like

1. Russell
2. Dunster
3. Penis
4. Simonssen
5. Sivo
6. Asi
7. Hodgson
8. Maka
9. Hands
10. Ogden
11. Carty
12. Davey
13. Hopgood

14. Matto
15. Morretti
16. Doorey
17. Murchie

Yep, I reckon Reg grabs a bench spot and on the back of todays performance, Gutho jumps Burton into 18th man

Reg and Gutho won't be playing for NSW.

Crichton will slip back to 18th man as cover for Latrell.

I'll you what I wrote Ogden off 2 months ago watching him in reggies he looked a slug and list clogger.

But once he has come into FG he has gone up a level and we haven't really missed a beat since he come back into the team 3 weeks ago.

Bailey Simmonson has also found his position.

Keep him in the centres - I wouldn't be moving him back to the wing.

I loved the fact that Gutho said he was ready to take on the 7 jersey in the presser.
I think this is what will happen .

That whole x-factor crap from the start of the year was as much about the club getting everyone used to Gutho potentially not always playing in the #1, as it was about (not) signing anyone with that "x-factor".

I also got great enjoyment seeing Greed made to look 2nd rate again today.

And a speed hump in the middle.

He was taken off with 10 mins to go and didn't attend the press conference as captain.

Left to Burton.

But here are the best stats of the night

Hands 9 runs for 96m including 4 DH runs for 53m.

Mahoney 4 runs for 28m - No runs from DH.

Hands down Brendan is up 2-0 when up against Reed it's not even a contest atm.

This, except with Gutherson at #7 (won't be selected in Origin), and Hodgson at #17 (for injury cover, enabling Hands to move to spine and Gutho into the backline)

That's Hands 2 v Mahoney 0 this season - with Hodgson a non-starter in both clashes.

I haven’t watched much of the Dogs this year, but has he been such a pinball in defence all season, or just against us? It used to shit me when he was with us how often he’d fall off tackles, but in both of those two games against us this year he’s been way worse than I recalled him when he was here.

Yeah I don't think much has changed except he is taking more responsibility in the attack as they don't have a HB.

And also I forgot to add thanks Gus for getting Reed an exemption so we could humilate him again with no excuses that he wasn't there and could have made a difference.

Gutho was joking when he said he would wear the 7 on the weekend.
He also said it earlier in the week at the weekly presser I think it was.

Not to say he wont but I dont think that is the plan at all.
Yeah I think Gutho can basically run the attack but still be in the 1 especially for defence.

He is too crucial back there to move him.

Do you go Cartwright or Matto if fit at 6, Asi 7 and then there is less disruption especially to the backline.

I still think this game is very winnable especially being at home with a strong crowd.

Manly haven't really backed up a good performance at Brookie with a good one on the road this year.

If it was at brookie I would rate our chances less.

He's definitely defending worse at Canterbury.

He's always been small, and a bit of a liability on your line - but he's way worse this season.
