Melbourne would have put 30 on Penrith tonight without Cleary. We just need to accept that we are second tier and that the top 3 after this round ends are simply better than us and on another level.

Why are we second tier though???? I think we have enough talent to challenge the top sides our pack should keep us in most games. Our boring predictable style of football is what kills us the most. Watching us try and put on a backline play is like watching old people f**k but only more gross.

The top 2 put 50 on that 3rd team. Not sure their any match for them. Sure they can easily account for us, but that is the case of one teams biggest strength, up against another teams biggest weakness. We won't beat Souths, but not sure they'd neccessarily beat anyone else in the Top 6

It's a combination of some stale coaching methods and the continual overrating of our players. Think about it the only player that would definitely make that Panthers side from our team is Gutherson.

well with the ball you had in the second half there is no f**ken way Luai should be the origin half with Wrighton. And panthers are no chance without Cleary...... 60% of the ball in the second half for 1 try, Luai couldn’t buy you a try.....panthers attack was horrible, storm will carve you up!!!!

WAT??? So Paulo and RCG wouldn't make their team??? Charlie Staines is f**king bog average as well. Papa is about the best second rower in the comp ATM he would walk into most teams.

The gap in talent isn't as much as the gap in coaching and support staff. Our assistant coaches would be about the worst in the league.

Winning would have given us a better chance of finishing top 2 and getting a home final and then just one game away from the GF. That's what would have happened. It would have also created a larger gap between the top 4 and the bottom 4.

BA is an excellent man manager, talent recruiter and front man, if there are issues it’s retaining the same attack coach for 8 years, with the same approach on sweeps and block plays. Understand the attack coach is a really good person, but the team needs more than someone who runs messages out , they need a strategist and someone to mould new plays at training.

Not when it's mattered we haven't...........

We were up against Souths with Takairangi and Dunster in the backline ffs. The week before we had f**ken Andrew Davey defending at left half and Niukore at centre for 70 minutes. If we played a top side with similar nuffies defending in key positions we probably would've won. It comes down to luck on the day.
