Why do you think he’s nowhere near origin caliber? He’s the most talented half in the comp after Cleary. His long kicking game playing off the back foot kept us in the game.
Imo, it's because his last tackle options are too inconsistent.

I thought Moses was good, and he's not the reason we lost.

Hell, I don't think we can blame any single player - we lost by 1 point to the runners up if 2020, in a game most people tipped us to get pumped by.

That ball you had in the first 40, if Moses could play you were up by 20+ and the game is over. He's truly a mental midget
I blame the coaching staff not Moses for that. Our attack has been an issue for a while now. We don’t know how to dismantle good defences. It’s either put up a bomb and hope the other team spills it or Gutherson passes it to Sivo to trample over a defender one on one. Very one dimensional.

Tbh, I hate this power, effort based game.

It's Good against the crappier teams but not against the better ones as they are fitter and pressure us more and make our blokes more tired as someone posted why lane and papa let in the tries
It works when we can bully the weaker teams and finish with 60% of the ball. It doesn't work against the top sides and hasn't in all BA's time here. To beat the top sides you needs more than effort area's and chase the collision. Ennis was spot on about our attack all night, he is one of the few in the media that is critical the rest seemed shocked that we struggle against the better sides. The game has changed we need a coaching staff that can change with it.

I agree with most of you guys that our attack is really off.

However, one thing I will say is that we are badly missing Mahoney - I believe our attack sharpens up with Reed back at 9.

Lussick has been tremendous, but he's not as talented, or skilful, as Mahoney.

You need to start to watch the games without blue and gold glasses.

We have plenty of deficiencies. Until we sort those out winning Finals matches will still allude us.
changing the subject..... yep plenty of deficiencies see my other posts (key players stuffing up under pressure), but trying to get quickly play the balls aren’t one off them.

you know the key to quick play the balls is post contact metres and RCG, Papa, Sivo, Paulo, lane go pretty good in that area.....that is fighting for a quick play the ball.....

you reckon Mahoney would be one of the better attacking/ball playing making hookers in the comp if we “didn’t fight” hard enough for quick play the balls? Hookers can only attack of quick play the balls (eg attacking against a retreating defence or offside defence so less defenders)

maybe you should watch some footy.......

There's the makings of a good footy side in here.

Just need some adjustments.

Oh, and how good was RCG? For a guy who never passes or offloads the ball, he always makes a lot of metres.

Didn't you have even more ball in the second and only came away with one try? You had an Origin half and how many other Origin players on the field and you won by 1 point.

I'm pissed he missed that goal though!

Nathan Brown was bog average tonight, for a forward he must have the slowest play the balls in the comp. One of those set restarts was f**king as dumb as f**k as well. Marata and Cartwright were underused while Lane and Papa were both on far too long which led to mistakes ,missed tackles and tries.

Is BA trying to kill Papa he's been amazing but he is seriously flogging him to death.

Regarding our attack being poor, panthers have only conceded more then 12 points 3 times and twice was without their origin players.

roosters /storm / south’s only scored 12 or less, manly scored 16.

yes our attack could be better but don’t underestimate the panthers defence even without cleary.

plus Mahoney is pretty important to our attack to, lussick’s service was average tonight.

If tonight is how we are going to attack the top teams in the finals it will be another case of out the back door. I wonder if anything will change??? Weve BEeN iN the ToP 4 tHe LaSt 2 SeAsOnS.........

Not when it's mattered we haven't...........
We’ve been attacking like this forever. Disjointed, boring with no real idea.
BA puts Cartwright in with 10 to go. What’s the use? Terrible coaching

Moses can play but is very hot and cold. But I also agree with you we should’ve been up by 20.
Hope you guys don’t choke again in the finial this year 🤣🤣 would love to see Luai breakdance to another choke. 🤣🤣

But we chased the collisions while front loading our effort area's and thats all that matters..........

We are unable to put on a set play through the hands, it's embarrassing.

It would be interesting to see how much time we spend on attack, it looks like no more than 20 mins a week.

Melbourne and Penrith use the defensive tactic of holding attackers up and dragging them back. They do it most tackles. Provides a huge advantage time wise and not having to retreat as far. Our Eels never do this except occasionally trying to force a player back in goal. Many other teams don't do it either.
Players like Dunster don't work well with BAs game plan.
Ice is going to be ruined if his workload is maintained.
It's an exhausting game plan which given our run home probably isn't sustainable.
Proud of our boys and the conditions probably didn't help but our intent in attack must change to take the next step. Bring on game next.
I completely agree. It's as if Bushy is just hoping that our opposition have an off day, and we jag a win at the expense of the opposition's errors.

It could happen, but it's a longshot.

We have a very good team. We don't need to have the attitude of picking up the crumbs. We have a team that should be feared. Our forward pack is f**king awsome.

If we had a highly credentiald coach such as a Bennet or Bellamy, I guarantee the team will be a massive premiership contender,,,,,, but with bushy as coach, no one is giving us any hope, ..apart from the dreamers. .

Probably because we're clearly significantly better than 10 other teams in the comp. Those teams are so far behind the rest of the comp it's become embarrassing.

But it doesn't matter how good we look against those 10 teams, it's how we play, or made to play, against the only other five decent teams in the comp that you get a gauge on anything.

I'll be ìnterested to see how the next 8 games go, because that stupid attack we've got is just going to get embarrassing for mine.

We can't surely train like that?

Is it all his fault though? The awesome forward pack is hot and cold too.
