We’ll see merkin. We may scrape a few wins against even shitter sides on the run home but I’m prepared to call this season.

I never had grand illusions of us winning the comp before tonights game. Did you?

They finally did it - the club has broken me.

I have tried really hard to follow Gary's, and Gronk's (and many other posters'), exemplary attitude of calm, measured, and rational approaches to the games.

But I am broken.

I have completely lost faith in the coaching staff - they are all in way over their heads, and the fact we have been winning more often than not probably papered over that for a while.

I've never understood the idea of having a halves coach. If they aren't coaching the whole of the attack then it seems pointless.

Before Moses went down with his calf I did. More recently, I thought if we could play through the garbage we have been dishing up the last 7 or 8 weeks, grab a few wins then eventually we might click. I now concede that was a fantasy. So if you don’t think we’ll win the comp you’re essentially calling the season as well. I’m glad we agree.

I think it is starting to become obvious that we need a change. Besides Gutherson, Paulo and possibly Nathan Brown the majority of the team has regressed.

1910. Glebe beat Annandale 45-3 in Round 20 and then stole all their beers after the game. Annandale went on to win the comp in Bennett's second season as coach.

Could well be mate. I'd be OK with a change at the end of the season. Provided its the right one though and not just a bullshit reaction where we end up with Matt Elliott.

And you wonder why we can't score tries. I'm not blaming the forwards. They have been quite good all year. And Mahoney is either injured, doing way too much work in defence or overrated.

As i walked out tonight with a group of very somber fans, one genius said , BA has recruited a side that is good enough on paper to finish in the top 4, whether they can coach well enough to do it got shown up by Wayne Bennett tonight.

Souffs did not have to use energy defending when we attacked as they knew exactly what we would do and were in place, well done to their video review. They than had plenty of energy to attack and we couldn’t go with them, that’s as well as looking jaded.

Need to identify the coaching problem and solve it as You don’t get many chances with a roster like the one we had out there.
