We don't have a window. We aren't good enough to be premiership contenders.
Now the squad isn’t good enough lol, what dribble. We showed what the side is capable of when we gave the Full strength Roosters a scare. That’s the best we have played all year and probably them as well. They made 1 error all game, but now when we are struggling it’s the squad isn’t good enough.

Absolute Plop!! You know what’s not good enough??? The coaching staff and their 3rd rate tactics and game plans.

You are very easily pleased my friend, and why couldn’t we get into an attacking position?

and FYI these games have been happening for past 2 months and only now being found out!!!!!

if you don’t understand the reasons behind not getting into attacking positions and being able to answer my question, there’s no point in talking to you :face_palm:♂️

Nah. Both our squad and our coaching tactics aren't at the level of the Top 3 teams. Can't single out one of those two.

Never going to win the game with 61-39% possession at half time.
We got completely dominated. Penrith too physical, too clinical, more hungry, quick play the balls, energy, cohesion...all there.
Admittedly we had Mahoney, Dbrown and Nuikore out.
I will say Stone and Will Smith both did a great job.
We missed D Brown's straight running and Nuikore's punch off the bench.
Sivo has to go. He has regressed badly. Get G Jennings in. Will make 10+ metres every hitup. Sivo has no post contact metres and his hitups are soft.
Moses continues to drift sideways, running out of space every time. Run fkn straight.
One other thing that shits me is his attacking kicks...put the fkn ball up and make it fkn rain.
Thought Sutton was atrocious with ridiculous amount 6 again calls. He is a shit ref.
How many times were Yeo and Fisher Harris tackling around the neck?
I'm actually ok with the loss. The effort was great. The attack needs a MASSIVE overhaul.
I do reckon if we beat Broncos and Tigers, we will beat Panfers in the semi. We can't have such unfortunate luck, lack of possession or 6 again calls...
To beat penrith you need to play up tempo. You need to better their enthusiasm, speed and energy..
I won't criticise BA for tonight. Have been critical in the past about failing in the big games, against the more credentialed coaches and not having a game plan..will leave that til the end of the year.
Need to be super good from week 1 of the semis

Panthers are first, on paper I’d argue our side is as good if it better. The one major difference is the coaching, we look like a pub football side in attack with the shape of an u10’s side.

But it’s an easy fix according to the bald muppet.

Top 10 excuses next week for our shit attack:

1. Drown is still out, he would have been the difference
2. Mahoney’s shoulder is still sore, if he was 100% we would have put 40 points on
3. We’re still tired from the defensive effort last week
4. We spent 80% of our training on defence
5. It doesn’t matter, the effort was there
6. We’re keeping our trick plays up our sleeve
7. Our goal is 3 tries and then we shut up shop
8. It’s an easy fix
9. The ref f**ked us over
10. We could score points earlier in the season so we just need to wait until the finals come round and we’ll be world beaters.

11. We need to improve on our effort areas.

Do you really think that squad would worry the Roosters or Storm in the Finals though?

There is still too many deficiencies all over the squad to be a serious challenger.

Drown and Mahoney are at least 50 games away from where we need them to be for us to become a contender.

Lane isn't really a good enough starting edge forward in a Premiership contender that has too many other deficiencies.

Outside of Niukore, the 3 other players we can put on a bench from week to week don't provide enough off the bench to make enough of a positive difference during a game, they just fill a hole whilst our main guys have a rest.

It's too hard to try and hide Waqa Blake and Sivo in defence for the whole 80 minutes with the other deficiencies above.

The attack coach certainly doesn't help to alleviate any of these deficiencies though.

I wouldn't pick us to best any of the current sides in top 8 tbh. And that includes Knights and Sharks. Id say Souths and Canberra are above us by enough.
It would be a coin toss against Knights and Sharks. And an upset if beat Canberra or Souths. They'd start as favourites for sure.
