I recall people saying he wasn't any good, and remarked that they wished he was more like Grant.

I've seen steady improvements in Mahoney's game.

Yes. He wasn't running or engaging the markers. He was playing like Ray Stone.

Gutho has mainly played left on attacking formations all year, I don't think he passes left to right all that well, whereas right to left he's very good.

With Drown out we've lost a lot of that threat on the left, so the king hasn't had the space. Good to see him having some luck down the right, combining with Moses, despite his form is our best shot. Notice though Moses has run more, that's creating space for the King.

Yep - those are he two keys to our attack, imo: Moses running the ball, and Gutherson creating opportunities.

First 20 very clunky but other we mixed things up a bit and looked way better with the ball.

They’ve said we had a lot of incomplete sets, but one was field being taken into touch on last, one was Gutho knocking on a loose ball on the ground, on fourth, I’m sure one was the sivo dropped bomb that resulted in a penalty and there was another ‘meh’ one. Not too bad considering the conditions and our recent form.

I'm pleased - we showed patience in the first 20, and reaped the rewards later in the half.

Imo, Grant is a "prettier" player, with a better running game, and his kicking game is on par with Mahoney's.

Imo, Mahoney's defence, and passing game, is better.

But I do agree that Grant is a gun.
