On reflection, that was a great win. The fact we did it with 11 men (at one stage) makes it even better and is what makes it a great win. We came back and won despite awful awful refereeing.

The awful refereeing I’m referring to is not the sin binnings as they were warranted but just the whole of game decisions for both teams but seemed to be lop sided against us. So to get the 2 points makes it a great win. A dirty win.

saying that if we play like that next week We will
Get pummelled. Actually with Sivo and RCG out I can’t see us winning with the recent form we are in.

I have never seen a footballer with more Desperation to get the result than the king. If he was a toad he'd of played 100 origins by now.
Pricey. And he got bashed game after game with illegal shots if those hits were done today. He would get up and go again. It was brutal what was done to him. Every penalty attempt at goal he would wait under the post in case of a rebound.

He was super dedicated. Guth is in the same mould but pricey was a class above him in desperation and toughness

As much as there was a lot of clunk in our execution (mainly around Asi) we thought that the Tits defence was first class. Likewise it was our defence causing fumbles that was keeping us in the game.

Vs the Roosters when we has two in the bin in the first half, it took so much out of us and gave them such a leg up, that we were destined to lose. This time around we were ahead on the scoreboard, however we thought that 11 v 13 would zap us so we’d be rooted in the second half. So taking all that into account, a scrambled win was a good result.

I haven’t seen the replay, but I hope that chip ahead play to Bailey which resulted in the FG looked as pro as it felt at the ground. Great game management by mItchy there.

I can’t imagine Uncle Nick’s team getting two in the bin simultaneously, but hey maybe I’m just a one eyed supporter. I’m sure it happens a lot and just haven’t noticed.

Great win. Terrible team performance.

We need a better coach that can sort that sort of sh*t out.

This Potato Head has had 10 years and still can't sort it. Maybe it is time to give Cheika a go?

Not that it will ever happen. The lot in charge are happy as long as we have a 'there abouts' season and can show that we are in the hunt so as to keep the punters coming back. Winning it is just an aspiration that we can always strive for and dream about while every other team gets to actually experience.

We need a metre eater winger with power. Both Sivo and Russell are not that. Sivo is even a bigger soft cock live. His hit ups are pure fairy floss stuff.
We have nearly the worst wing pairing in the comp. Watch how hard guys like Kiraz, JAC, Marzhew, Katoa etc etc run the ball. They fight for every centimetre. They pop up in the middle of the field to take the hard runs.

The media has started the narrative that RCG should have been sent off , hello Campbell knees into Russell = no penalty and a player had 8 weeks out ?. The Tits player got straight up and played the ball, how heavy was the knees from one of the biggest players on the field , definitely not intended to injure.

The MRC will definitely support the poor refereeing and the work experience Penrith fan in the bunker (Atkins), both Reg and Sivo will get at least a couple of weeks , as the officials pat themselves on the back. As for the Tits coach, dear me what a sook.

Didn't see a bunch of missed tackles at the game or in the replay. He was tackling Fafita and putting big hits on other players.

The team really worked Fafita over tonight I have no idea why he is on.a million a season.
I’ve watched nearly all their games this year and Fifita has been an absolute weapon. Our guys did a great job in shutting him down. Carty put a good hit on him early which seemed to set the tone.

Agree, and if it wasn't for their successful spoiling by their cheaty line speed, followed by their slow as snails rolling away from the ruck, we would have won by a margin. Hey full credit to them, they know how to expose our rust and test the ref's nerve.

Final comment- what do linesman actually do ?

This. The fact that he said he didn’t get into the team last week after the pathetic performance against the warriors says a lot about him as a coach.

Lol Reg was lucky not to be sent off, it was a shit thing to do and not even comparable to the Campbell one on Russell. He deserved 2-3 weeks minimum.

yep. Outright stupid. As a fan I’d be embarrassed to even contemplate defending it. Although the player wasn’t injured, RCG will still cop 2-3 weeks.

it’s the season that keeps on giving.

The fact that he gave them the excuse of Origin players missing was a joke and a terrible message to send to the remaining squad.

You may feel this way, but you should never let on as a coach. Players will always take the easy way out, especially if their own coach gives it to them.

I suspect RCG gets sent off if Sivo wasn't already in the bin.

Anyone know why this idiot didn’t give Luca a run? considering they were all gassed
Especially considering we defending with 11 men for around 15 mins. We were losing the middle for far too long before he even brought Offa on. But we won I suppose that’s the main thing. Onward and upward.

In slow mo it looks bad. at full speed it doesnt look deliberate. just clumsy and poorly timed
