What were RCG’s previous charges?

Somehow the refs and MRC koalas have JWH face a fine for yet another indiscretion, maybe having the NRL HQ next door to Roosters HQ means lattes and mateship, in other words mates are looked after. Yes I understand it’s petty, but it happens far too often.

I think people are still blowing up about that one because there was no report, no charge and Russell was out for period, as opposed to Dylan Brown who copped 3 weeks for not much different to Campbell's yet the "experts" came out and said it was the worst thing in the game. Oh wait that's right it was against the Roosters, can't injure their players

Unfortunately he's going to have to cop the early plea. Its going to be tough without him and I know we covered him when he was out but that's when we had Greig who I thought was in great form until his injury. Hopefully Makatoa and Ogden can step up, although they've been going well.

Also did the Titans coach say Tino was an easy target? Welcome to first Grade Jim. It annoys me how coaches try and defend their player for their antics and offload it back to the referees. How about tell your player to not do it. His suspension might help him

Can't really argue with the bans.

Would have preferred 3 for Reg as the 4th game is Broncos at the Gabba and the 3rd being the Dragons match but it was a shocking incident so really can't defend it.

Sivo makes weekly appearances on the charge sheet. It was inevitable he copped a suspension.

So that leaves with this so far this year with 21 Games worth of suspensions you can't win a comp when so many players sit out matches for ill-displince.

I watched via UK Sky Sports Arena which takes the foxsports coverage. I tried foxtel via roaming but the coverage was intermittent. Towards the end of the game just before Guth scored my commentary on the coverage cut out. Best thing as Voss was riding the Tits home...grub.

You're not wrong about Voss.
Watching the game again at home and he was painful to listen to. He picked out every little thing the Eels were doing wrong and would go on about it for minutes, but the Titans could do no wrong.
When they threw that blatant forward pass off the kickoff he said nothing, then when Flanagan pointed it out he just says "you be the judge at home" when he saw the replay.

Then when the bunker gives Gutho's try he goes off his head like he can't believe it. I could see it was a try way up in the stands.

I haven’t seen the replay, but I hope that chip ahead play to Bailey which resulted in the FG looked as pro as it felt at the ground. Great game management by mItchy there.

It was Gutho who put that kick in.
A very risky all or nothing play that paid off brilliantly. I think Simonsson may have been grabbed a fraction of a second before he got the ball but too close to call.

Awesome run by Matto to get the quick play-the-ball before the field goal as well.

RCG was never going to get less than 4 weeks so I think this was the best we could have hoped for.

If he didnt have 4 priors, he'd have just copped a fine.

Surprised but not surprised at JWH getting a fine for 3rd and more diescretion, Radley similar for his 4th in less than 10 weeks, but it’s the Roosters so nothing to see here.

What most see an issue is when Haas doesn’t go on report for a hip drop that sees RCG miss 8 weeks, no sin bin and we lose by around 6 points. Still an issue with Campbell putting zRussell into an ambulance and surgery and missing 10 weeks, not even cited.

Both players on the receiving end got up and played the ball, no HIA for the Sivo incident , and although RCG was stupid it looked clumsy and didn’t hurt anyone.

The inconsistency is the issue, time and again certain clubs get hammered more than others and sentences seem a reflection of media opinions and coverage than the actual incident.
