W.Smith is NRL level. Had it been D.Brown play like he did last night people would give him MOM.

I hope he does go well. But it's a catch 22. If he is a star then we will have to chose between him and Rheed.
Neither will be happy with a bench role long term.

I'd be more excited with a boom 2nd rower and centre or wing coming through. This is our bigger needs.

I know we had players missing but gee our defence was soft. If we play like that we'll be smashed by Storm. What are they doing with Waqa regarding defence? He was extremely poor last nite. Arm grabbing, that is if he doesn't over run the player or letting them go. And last nite wasn't the only time he's done this, but had a hand on the ball and meekly let it go to allow player to score a try!

Next week really worries me. Storm are a fast team and we're pedestrian when compared with them. Their fast side is up against our poor defensive side. BA needs to look at speed, speed and speed for next year to keep us as a top 4 team.
