You would swear we lost by 70 with the carry on.

Cows are full strength have about 8 origin players.

Been bashed in the penalty count and missing 4 key players.

Like I said the 2 best players tonight were Gutho and Moses.

The Cowboys have not been that good tonight

I think the getting (back) into the final 8 bit is where it all falls down.

Storm (A) - loss
Dragons (H) - win?
Broncos (A) - loss
Roosters (H) - win?
Panthers (A) - loss
Bye - win

That's not enough to lift us out of 9th for mine. (I say 9th, because Rabbitohs have Wests Tigers next week.)
Did you watch the Storm earlier? I wouldn’t be writing us off against them.

For whatever reason we simply couldn't be arsed doing the hard stuff tonight. 28 offloads is not the sign that a teams wants to run hard.

We were never even remotely close to being in the contest from the opening whistle. Rugby League is a simple game and the team who runs hard and tackles hardest generally wins. That wasn't our go tonight, not even close, not anywhere near as hard as our opponents anyway. If the pace yourself for 80 was the theory for the day, it didn't work out in the end.

We were lucky to be within 12 at halftime, it could've easily been a 30 point margin at halftime. However, the outcome of the match was essentially over at half time, and if it wasn't, it was the moment we took the field in the second half. f**k we looked more flat for the start of the second half than we did at any stage of the first half, and quite frankly, that is saying something!

We were outmuscled, out enthused, out intensed, out smarted, and out classed for 70 minutes and scored a couple of consolation tries at the end.

I'll be interested to see how we finish the season to be honest. I suspect Matterson and Lane miss next week at least, with the Storm smarting after a loss.

Who knows what the f**k will happen for the remainder of the year, it has just been one of those seasons.

Cowboys putting the cue in the rack when the game was beyond reach let us make this look closer than it was/should have been.

Poor effort from the start - and now the Townsville effect to cope with next week...

In big strife again for a loss next week imo, with no real personnel (or tactical) changes available to us.

Tough road to the finals for us here.

Our defence will improve out of sight in 2 weeks with Dyl returning. His left edge talk and organising of the D will definitely help.
Might be too little too late though.

We probably need to win 2 out of 3 from the Storm Broncos and Panthers games.

RCG won't be back until the Roosters game?
Lane might be gooorneski

Really think the scoreline flattered us.. we were beat In every department.
Massive work required to make the 8. I think we may be just about done..we have a terrible run home and with all the injuries and suspensions we haven't been able to play our best 17 once this season.
