Bennett. Surely the kudos that would come with the possibility of being the first coach in 35+ years to lead Parra to a premiership would be hard to turn down, assuming he hasn’t got anything else in the pipeline.

Honestly that was our grand final. We've been under heat the last few weeks and had to fire. Look what we come up with.
If we couldn't atleast make tonight a contest for atleast 60 odd mins then I give up. I'd say we are far closer to the Dogs then we are the top 5 sides. We are fading fast and getting worse each week.

Dogs gave souffs a game...if we are being fair dinkum that was a training run for souffs.
We are so far off the pace its like some players are fkn scared to play footy and others look like they are running in quick sand.
If you are horribly out of form at least do the basics right. Race up quickly, put a chase on the kicks, support ur runners...geeeeez its just fkn embarrassing

garbage all season - it was always going to haunt us in the big games. I’m still shocked we won a lot of the games we did this year. We seemed to jag a try from a kick or an offload then tackled our arses off.

All our wins have been ugly. I can’t recall a single win this year where we were really impressive. Storm maybe.

Our ball movement along the backline is appalling. Absolutely appalling. I honestly can’t believe how bad it is. Players pass wide when there’s nothing on, hold the ball when there’s an overlap, pass goes forward or the pass goes to ground. Laughable.

Don't rate Flanagan. He had an open cheque book at the sharks for years and could buy whoever he wanted. He's roster was so out of whack while he was there and was so exposed when he left. Wayne maybe but I don't think he'd take us on. Other than Wayne who out there now could take this side to the next step?

As I said months ago he isn't a fullback long term. And D.Brown isn't a 5/8. He offers zero in attack.
I think may as well write the season off. Or atleast shake things up.

Gutherson needs to be moved to 5/8.

Blood Russel as the long term fullback.
Consider Penisini.

In forwards could consider starting Bryce.
Matterson to lock.
Brown off bench
Start Lane in 2nd row
Papali off bench.

Just ideas. Things worth considering.

I wouldn’t be blooding players into the attitude currently in team. That’d be worse than blooding them in to be annihilated by whoever we play in last games

There is just absolutely no speed within this team, and not speed in the sense of JAC but just speed in running, ball movement or urgency. It is f**king terrible watching them.

The reason Dunster has looked like a kid out there in his last 2 games he has played is because the opposition make an effort, they gang tackle and actually put force in their tackles........we do no such thing.

I don't think we focus enough on fundamentals of the game and that is what the great coaches clearly do........throw the leagues club at Uncle Wayne, he would not tolerate the some of the performances we dish up and as a club have done for a long time!
