What the f**k has happened to Peni Terepo? He was fumbling hard running plodder. Now he is ball playing, making busts and is seriously a different player. He has dead set grown a leg.

Evans actually went pretty well in his more accustomed helping out for 10 mins or so either side of half time. Its the role he always played at the Roosters and was always at least decent in that role for them.

I'm a big Evans fan, and I thought he would be excellent for us (how wrong was I?).

I wasn't expecting much on his return to First Grade, but I thought he was a solid contributor.

Finally! He was rubbish again tonight he needs to go.

The way we were fielded towards the end was interesting wonder how it will look going forward.

Marata and Peni were brilliant tonight.

Probably one of Peni's best ever games.

Niukore is going to benefit greatly from getting plenty of game time at the back end of this season.

He just never had a good run with injuries. In 2016 with Wicks he was also very good.
One of his tackles tonight was Burgess like. I been calling it for a while and had shit put on me but if anyone think Alvaro or Mannah is better then this guy there off head. Stats dont show everything like hard hits or powerfull charges when it is needed.

Not bad but 9 tackles. Actually thought it looked like he made more tackles and less metres

It's the fact he made more runs than tackles which is why he looked so good. Like any attacking forward, you want them spending their juice carrying the ball. Tackles just detract from that.

One thing I've noticed about him lately is he's not trying to take control of everything and be the boss.
He is picked on the wing? He does his job as a winger. He's picked in the centres? He does his job as a centre. He picks and chooses when he needs to do something different (French try assist), without being detrimental to the teams plans.
It appears as though he has pulled his head in and is more of a team player than he has ever been.
I believe he needs to be commended for this, considering the crap he has been accused of in the past.
He's still one of the finest players in the NRL. No question.

Well said Suit. He has been outstanding. And it is the little efforts that have impressed me - the kick chase, the quick play the ball etc. All the stuff he used to be accused of not doing.

. Slowest play the ball in the NRL.
All that said he was better than usual tonight but no better than average. Greatly over paid imho.

He gave up over half a Mil to come home. The only way he'll end up elsewhere is if we don't want him.
