After catching my breath I've got angry now. How did we let Canberra score that last try?

As soon as Whitehead scored to close the gap to 16-20, the commentators started hyping up the Raiders in a comeback tone. It's almost like our boys heard the commentators and played along with the Raiders comeback. After struggling to put get over our line from 5 metres out, they then go coast to coast like...where the hell was that all game from the full strength Raiders?

The biggest win of the year. The Raiders pulled a Rabbitohs Roosters type performance on our home turf, credit where it is due, they messed up our game.
Walker was injured three times in the tackle in that game, it is very clear what Sticky directed his players to do when Walker was running.
That was filthy by the Raiders.

I predicted in another forum that this would be a drop goal thriller top four finals style game with SJ winning it with his boot....

Second week in a row I have called the game accurately...dunno what any of that means...because for mine...it was obvious this was going to be a blood battle to the death...I mean winner stays in top four...what more evidence do you need to expect a finals intensity match.

You probably shouldve put a bet on. Dont know what a drop goal win by SJ wouldve been paying but you wouldve got paid thats for sure.

Great win.
Some more rocks and diamonds. Sun-Fri games are tough and a top 4 side coming off a bye.
The Ambush was on and we came out of it in one piece.
Some puzzling calls by ref made this closer than it should have been. No way Montoya knocked the ball on, FACING his own try line and knocking it towards his own goal line and then knocked on by the Raider. How that was a line dropout only Todd Smith knows. Game would have been over at 20-10.
The game confirmed to me the lack of threat on the LHS once it gets in Pompeys hands. No other centre in the game would have failed to score that try with an open tryline. But he did. Its like he was running in quicksand. Great on D at the other end but gee whiz. Bring on Ali.

Yeah I thought the ref helped them out too late in the game when they came back. He wasnt too bad though.

was pretty annoyed at the last 2 tries but in hindsight, we probably needed a huge scare like that. Score line flattened the raiders. They were no match due our goal line D… for most of the game at least.

Yeah while it was too close for comfort it was useful in that it pushed us into uncharted territory for the season- and we executed the golden point period perfectly.
Basically we got a bit of early finals footy tonight and fought through.

He wouldve scored when he was supporting Montoya but maybe he was running too fast that he had to reach back to try and gather the ball. Yeah bad positioning on that part but he did well to put Montoya away to begin with.

Fogaety got to outside of AFB, Curran holds for him, SJ (could of held Currans hand) has Young who runs through the line pass skips Curran and SJ giving Berry and DWZ 3 players (Wighton, Croker and Hopa), Wighton hold up and engages Berry perfectly DWZ is up and in the middle of 2 and has neither. CNK comes to Hopa who passes to Wighton. Curran on his hip, a diving ankle tap may have stopped it.
But it started at the ruck and numbers.

Yeah a chance but it was dented straight after our game by Brisbane beating Souffs. I was hoping the Bunnies would get up there and put us level with the Broncos. Still a good chance of holding third as the Storm have an away game to the Panthers coming.
