We're improving. As a matter of fact if some statistical genius were to chart our improvement on an x y chart our improvement would be inverse to our plummeting living standards, that's how precipitous the incline and decline.
We have improved defensively for the most part but boy did we start set the bar low to start the season. Dropping the ball repeatedly hasnt really changed since the start of the season tbh. Everytime our forwards get passed the ball i start to get nervous which is never a good sign. I feel like the storm played absolutely shit too and they didnt have hughes either. Dont get me wrong much better than game 1 but man our improvement gets a little overrated sometimes.

We weren't making the Top 8 from 1 November last year. That situation hasn't changed.
It's attitudes like that Ryles is clearing out from our club, like a well indentured apprentice beersmith graduated into his life's calling embarking out to clean out the lines of an old run down pub to let the lifeforce flow through rejuvenated arteries again.

Papalii was instrumental in Guymers try.
Nothing wrong with Papalli.
There is a spot for him in the 17.
I'm not sure we pulled the right lever getting TDS. He's on too much and doesn't really offer all that much

Joash is a squad player at best but I have no confidence with him at fullback. Iongi shits on him.
I actually thought joash played alright. Wish he was a little stronger for post contact meters but bro is also like 166cm. Just a few poor reads offensively. He does love that good double fake pass to set up his pass on tackle 5.

Hopgood is never touching the ball again so I would coach him to slow walk back once the opposition has kicked it so that he is about onside by the last tackle and then work his guts out in defense.
You'd think next year when De Belin arrives he moves into the front row role and isn't involved in ball movement as much.
