That I don't understand. Simonsson is a midget.
So are Edwards and To'o at the Panthers. I think being able to wrong foot defenders is more useful than brute strength for outside backs taking hit ups, which is why Sivo is no good at it. Against forwards he loses his advantage.

Tbh there were lots of matches where we came back to lost by a few points. They were just hiding how poor we are.
Not really. If teams are going to fire up against us in defence they better be able to keep it up for 80 minutes, because we are a quality attacking side.

Nobody is, which is why they are good sides. You can call it circular logic, I call it putting the horse back in front of the cart where it belongs.

I've now just listened, for normally sycophant types, I was shocked with some of the things they finally admit that has been noticeable for a long time.
f**k now I'm going to have to listen to it. Which episode was it? The post game?
I suspect they'll lose their 'access' over it though.
The club has already released a rival podcast.

yes

i think that 60s guy makes some decent points about suspensions and us trying too hard to be disciplined in the ruck.
I've said it before as well. The premiers are never (rarely?) anywhere near the least penalised side in the comp. But then maybe they can get away with taking those defensive risks because they have better defenders.

BA has said countless times in interviews and pressers in 2018 we were the most penalised team in the comp.

So ever since then he has driven this displince like attitude around the ruck.

It has gotten us 4 finals series in a row but I think in big games you need to push the envelope more as the refs are conscience of not ruining the spectacle.

I agree, though Arthur's was wrong about 2018. We were sixth most penalised (per game) and only conceded 0.1 penalty per game more than the premiers.

We need to learn when the risk of pushing the envelope is worth the potential penalty conceded. Refs aren't using the send off for repeated infringements this year nearly as much as they have in previous years, and the good defensive sides know it and take advantage of it.
