Any chance we move Gutherson to 5/8 and Dylan Brown to fullback. Dylan isn’t a good five eight and Guth is a limited fullback.

f**k hate the loss!!

But gee just enjoy the development of this side!! Last year we don’t come back into this game.

Yeah we played poor at times tonight and yeah the ref gave us nothing!!

But we still scored 3 tries to 2, made 5 line breaks to 3, made a shit load more run metre (last time I check it was 500 more metres).

We did everything but win it tonight!

Enjoy the season and the finals. We will get better.

It’s pretty much this. I felt we were given absolutely nothing from Klein and whoever else was imitating a ref out there. They slowed the ball down something fierce and were penalised once for it, when O’Sullivan got done in the 70th or so.

I don’t think that’s the answer, but agree that Drown has been poor since coming back from his back injury. He’s still young though and will improve. Don’t think he’s worth anywhere near $700k though at this stage of his career.

It wasn’t his fault. He was spent and our coach couldn’t see it.

He has the worst bench rotations in the comp.

I can’t agree mate. Everything is on the line in that situation and all he had to do was fall on Seggy. Reckon Matt Gillett would’ve let that happen? Me either.

They lack every single 1%er there is. Our kick chase is shit, our support play is shit, our backing up in defence is shit, there is never any urgency in anything they do.

I still think it has plenty to do with lack of fitness, we just can't compete if we perform all those 1%ers so we don't.

We score 3 tries to 2, made nearly 500 or so more metres. Made more line breaks.

The thing we lacked tonight was ball control and some luck from the ref nothing to do with effort / fitness .

What does Gower offer?
Not a lot these days. His age has caught up with him in a big way. I reckon he could do a job here and there for a game or two at a time but that’s about it. He needs to be way down the pecking order next year.

A whole bunch of our forwards played long minutes I think.
They had to, Gower and Terepo offered little, Taka did well to energise when he came on. Alvaro is at least a genuine top 17 player, but the bench are a real weakness for the team

As before, recruitment and development forwards are the key to moving into the next level next year.

We lost all momentum when Paulo and Evans came off and then got it back once they came back on. It’s happening every week. BA needs to do something about it.

I thought Brown was fine tonight. I feel like people forget he's like 12 years old...and he already has more of an ability to threaten the line than guys like Adam Reynolds.

He is good, no mistake.

Great idea. Should we do that vs Manly or the first semi final ?

Yeah but then people laugh when posters suggest starting Alvaro and benching Evans for balance...
