They had to, Gower and Terepo offered little, Taka did well to energise when he came on. Alvaro is at least a genuine top 17 player, but the bench are a real weakness for the team

As before, recruitment and development forwards are the key to moving into the next level next year.
We need to get rid of brain dead players like Terepo and replace them with Kaufusi and Stone from the bench.

Imagine what a good side is going to do to us next week? Brisbane are bog average apart from Haas and Fifita. Everything else about that game was about how many times we could f**k up or Brisbane just stinking it up when their 2 good players weren't touching the ball.

Manly made us look like the Titans last time, imagine what they will be like with a top 4 spot on the line?

Our problem is that we have a great hooker who needs a f**king rest. I’d go buy Levi from the Knights to rotate him with Mahoney.

I’d also make Fifita the richest teenage NRL player in the game.
Can't like this enough..well said..

We lost all momentum when Paulo and Evans came off and then got it back once they came back on. It’s happening every week. BA needs to do something about it.
We without the actual quality depth in the squad, that’s not possible.

I mean, did you see mad merkin Stone against the Tigers?

Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of mentalness, but the guy certainly won't solve the occasional deadshit play from the bench problem

I thought Brown was fine tonight. I feel like people forget he's like 12 years old...and he already has more of an ability to threaten the line than guys like Adam Reynolds.

He is good, no mistake.
I think people are looking at the figures being thrown out there (hearsay) and he’s nowhere near up to that value at the present time. He defends well but he certainly doesn’t inject himself into games, which you would expect from a potential $700k half. I agree he is fine for his current contract value.

I fell like you're underrated the Broncos desperation in defence dude. That won them the game in the end.

We score 3 tries to 2, made nearly 500 or so more metres. Made more line breaks.

The thing we lacked tonight was ball control and some luck from the ref nothing to do with effort / fitness .

Exactly, Brisbane are bog average and they beat us because we don't know how to complete the fundamentals of the game. Since the Warriors game we look out of it in the last 15 minutes, you notice it so badly when you are watching them live, they just have nothing to give. That is unfit in my eyes!

What would you do? We’re limited by our roster and I’d be hesitant to split those two up.

I'd be stunned if the offer was 700k next year tbh.

The kid is good though.

Agreed, but Kaufusi has been good when given an opportunity. Not sure why he can’t break into this 17.

We deserved that, who the f**k let Segeyaro get back up??? They stood and watched him like they didn't know they had to tackle him.

We will get 7th and bundled out in the first week.

What a f**king disgraceful team we are.

If Canberra beat Sharks and Briincos beat Dogs next week we will play Broncos at Parra. Id back us tbh by 13+
I do not want the Sharks at home or away. Away we are no chance.

His defensive work rate is quite poor. And tbh since he's been sent back to Wenty Stefano has easily outshone him from what I've seen.

I'd probably pick him personally but can see why we haven't.

I honestly thought the quality of the game was pretty poor. A team that was just hanging on against a team that can't execute to save their lives.

It is easy to defend a team that has absolutely no clue on how create numbers in the 20 and look for individual skill to get over the line rather than great team plays.

I just don't see how anyone can be excited about the next 2 games is all, i have seen nothing for the last 7 weeks that makes me excited about playing good teams in 2 weeks.
