Walking back to the car last night, they said on MMM that Pennys have "requested" the Friday slot.
Yep, because they are hiding from a short turn around.. 1st place should kickoff the semis, even if it means show casing bums like Parra in the process.

Gutho has generally gotten the short drop out in the right spot for our chasers, I'd just like to see a range of drop outs. I'd like to see short ones along the ground, short high ones to Sivo, short high ones to Lane, long ones. The short drop out works the best when the opposition don't know it's coming.

Also for the final 2 kick-offs NAS was standing in the first line but rather than standing on the 40m line he was 35m out and about 20 in from the sideline. We needed to play heads up footy there and drill it towards the sideline

Manly has done that a few times now.

SEN is the go not this MMM!
Speaking of SEN Vossy said he called the game last night to make it a perfect 10 wins from 10 games he has called parra games this year.

I found it hilarious that penrith board member Brandy was being facetious by saying he was already putting in calls to the bosses at Fox to stop him from calling next week.

I have been to every Parra win this year.
Hopefully I can get out to Penrith on Friday night.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but...

Wasn't Xavier Coates defending opposite Sivo?

And for a guy we all call a slug from time to time, Sivo showed enormous speed to score that cracking try.

I honestly can't remember him ever running that fast.

He's had a really good year - it's crazy to think how well he has played, considering how much footy he missed.

i don’t think he’d be any faster, he just seems to be playing with a better attitude. He’s numbering up and showing signs of urgency when need be.

i've always thought someone should learn how to do a drop kick as hard as f**k along the ground towards the guy standing on the sideline - see how the merkin handles it

And not just that but from the kickoff. You've even got a kicking tee to help you out.

DCE has done it a couple of times both from a drop out and a kick off. Agree, more teams should do it.
