Yep much easier from a kickoff but he has done it from a drop out too.ive seen him do it on kick offs - alot easier when the ball is placed

i don’t think he’d be any faster, he just seems to be playing with a better attitude. He’s numbering up and showing signs of urgency when need be.
And there’s also the possibility of the opposition knocking on. It’s a good tactic.
I reckon he's fitter, rehab might have just been real good for him.
He looks leaner, faster and better acceleration.
I hope Haze used the time to do same. Its hard to change body whilst the seasons going.
I reckon they were miss kicks.I prefer the short drop out
What we did with the Bronx was perfect
I think guth changed it this week coz ba knew Bellamy would do his homework and so he kicked it down the middle instead.
The storm didn't give lane any freedom
Agree I can’t believe the amount of whinging about the short dropoutsPeople overestimate the risk in going for the short dropout. The biggest risk is you don't go 10 and give away a penalty, but that doesn't apply when the opposition is chasing a big total. As for territory they're usually back in the twenty on the second or third anyway, and you've saved yourself running out to meet them and have a set defensive line. This is why we are seeing the short dropout more and more.
Sounds like a dominatrix.I reckon they were miss kicks.
It's the same mentality regarding taking the two. And dare I say it not attempting to take the one because if you miss you give up a seven tackle set. But people hate being on edge.Agree I can’t believe the amount of whinging about the short dropouts
You give yourself a chance at getting ball back and give up only problby one tackles worth of territory ….
you'd want a good safe word incase she starts trying to slot a few between the sticksSounds like a dominatrix.
It depends on the circumstances whether to go long or short. If a team is getting pumped on the scoreboard and have had to do a few dropouts in succession then the short kickoff is the best gamble. If you're comfortably in front and have to take dropouts 1-2 times in succession then kick long.Agree I can’t believe the amount of whinging about the short dropouts

It will never be based on recent years. It's all based on our results over 25 rounds this year. We finished fourth so we will play against the team that finished first after 25 rounds, just this year.Any ideas on when next weeks game will be based on recent years?
i've always thought someone should learn how to do a drop kick as hard as f**k along the ground towards the guy standing on the sideline - see how the merkin handles it
I saw our NSW Cup side play some random team this year and they employed a hard shallow grubber kickoff which was angled to the sideline. Once they got the ball back because we tried to trap it and failed and at least twice it just went straight out which gave them the feed in a scrum in an attacking position.ive seen him do it on kick offs - alot easier when the ball is placed
I have been to every Parra win this year.
Hopefully I can get out to Penrith on Friday night.
He looks faster to me - I remember him making linebreaks in years gone by, and looking for support.
This try was 40m, or so, and he never looked like getting caught.
Plus, he burned Coates, which is no mean feat.
He looks sharper with his running motion to me.
Which is awesome, because he is an awesome player.
It’s PREMATURE EJACULATORSEnsemble!!!
The best thing about it for me is the unpredictability. High risk, high reward. Too much boring safe shit in the game. Its a good tactic as the opposition are usually setup all across the field for the long drop out so it takes them2-3 plays to get set when there is a short drop out. Plus the defense is already on the line so no long kick chase.
