Let's be serious. Sailor chopped up a NSW cup side. No way I'd be moving Gutherson to centre for him.
Gutherson would be an awful centre on 750k. Simmonson level at best. He is a fullback or a 5/8. Centres need to be faster, stronger and better foot work I feel.

he would be better than Simmo for a start...just on want and desire alone.

I think it's a risk worth taking to be honest.

a decent player around a decent spine and some strong middles, he'll be fine but granted it might take a bit of time.

Not saying he isn't a better player. But Simmo is faster and stronger. At centre you get far less space so it's hard to break tackle and your coming up against a set defense most the time.
Guys like Kotoni, Herbie,Tago,Crighton,Ramien,Best.... I mean great centres but what they have is raw power and athleticism. Guth is more skill full than all of them. But I still don't see his body being suited to centre.

I genuinely think he would be a great 5/8 and Dylan at fullback could be top 3 in game. If I was looking for a change that would be it. Not saying we should but it would be interesting

Yes but our spine goes from 3 out of 4 stars and one average plodder (Drown, Moses, Gutho and Lussick respectively) to just 2 stars and 2 average plodders (Sailor and Lussick the plodders in that scenario) if you move Gutho to centre.... I'm not sold on Sailor after one good game against a team missing a host o first choice starters...

I want the Cowboys to win and raiders to fall out.

Ricky would have another implosion in him i reckon plus they are frauds of the softish draw possible they don't deserve finals.

Same plus some moron was on SEN giving her self credit saying the Eels would not make the finals and the Raiders would...

Simonsson is a plodder. He is on a level below Joel Reddy and Ryan Morgan. I'd say he is on par with former player, Vai Toutai

I am still 50/50 on Super Simmonson.. He didn't have an off season to train for center as he was injured..

Maybe with a full off season training at center he may be useful. I still think we need to sign a strike center with speed who can defend...
We all saw what Sivo could actually do against the Panthers not his try scoring but taking runs and making meters.. Like where has that been all year...

We don't need to change much in attack so moving Gutho for me is a bad idea.

We don't even need one with strike and speed. Just one who can defend.
Strike and speed are expensive.

I do think we need to change something - just to be more unpredictable in attack within games.

We're currently probably lining up as:
1. Gutho, 6. Brown, 7. Moses, 9. Lussick, 14. Hands, 18. Asi

But there's no reason not to sometimes try the following, even just for periods within games:
1. Brown, 6. Gutho, 7. Moses, 9. Lussick, 14. Hands, 18. Asi

I'm open to Gutherson adjusting to playing some centre too, with Russell covering fullback - if we signed an actual x-factor winger for example (assuming landing a decent centre better than Penisini level is too difficult).
