Absolutely right mate, let’s give him the absolute benefit of the doubt and assume all of the bullshit about how crap the recruitment process is is accurate, he still ends up with a serviceable 17 (including stars in a few spots) and can’t coach them out of a wet paper bag. I don’t know how this will go over, but I have to admit that I don’t rate Hopgood very highly. He’s got a lot of ticker and he tries hard, but he’s not that skilled. He’s the least of our troubles, of course, but he gets very sloppy, very quickly. That pass is a good example.

He seems only good for 25min stints, any more and he gets sloppy.
