Like I said, stupid site. I was still getting the adds mate, but the site still disappeared my like button.

Stupid site and just like some ppl around here who will defend the club at all costs, so do you and your other forum moderator cohorts.

If the whole not being able to like thing is legitimately to do with ad blockers, and old mate is anything like me this site honestly does not notice ad blockers running half the time... So yeah, in that case it is the site that's stupid.

Dear Stupid People,

If you run an ad blocker for a period of time, our software senses this as some people who think they are smart, turn their ad blocker of, then post, then turn it back on. So in order to deal with this our software makes you post for a unknown amout of time, without running your ad blocker, before it reinstates your priviliges.

This is a recording for those who have not seen this on the other multipe occasions that htis has been posted.

Cleary was at 3 different clubs in those 12 years yo speak about though.

He also had to take over 2 clubs at the bottom in Penrith in 2012 & Wests in 2017.

And was forced to rebuild them from the ground up starting from scratch on 3 different occasions.

BA has had 11 years straight at one club.
There is absolutely zero logic to this argument. Every team is rebuilt multiple times over 11 years, whether they win a premiership or not. Paulo and Matterson are the only players who were here in 2014 when Arthur took over, and both have left and returned, and signed multiple new contracts in that time. In fact, neither of them were here in 2017 when we made the finals for the first time in eight years.

It’s not like there’s guaranteed incremental growth every year a coach is in charge. At least a third of your roster is off contract and free to negotiate with rivals every single year, and the salary cap means you’re forced to choose between keeping your existing stars or signing new ones.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein.
We have gotten different results every single year. No two seasons have been the same. There’s too many moving parts.

Yes you make valid points, but when is it time for change?????
I think changing the coach won’t lead to the change you’re looking for. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t change the coach. I just think Hasler or Cleary (multiple premiership winners) would get similar results with our squad.

But I am coming around to the idea that our senior players are the problem, and getting rid of them probably requires Arthur’s exit from the club.

Do you remember when B.Smith was coach and we become stale and JT took over. We went on a wild run and made the 8.
Same team. Just a new coach and one not as good either.
Taylor’s career proved that ‘06 run had f**k all to do with him.

Similarly, Stuart’s career proved ‘02 and ‘13 were outliers. Kearney also went better at the Warriors than in his two years at Parra, but ultimately he wasn’t good enough.

I never turn my ad block off, I certainly don’t care enough about giving a merkin a thumbs up to do it. I’m simply telling you your automated system is dumb enough to not tell I’m using one half the time. I can tell simply by how long the page takes to load if it’s going to give me the option to like posts or not. This goes for both my phone and PC, but hey just keep calling people stupid that’ll make them look at your ads mate.

*premiership winner

Helps when you have Joey in your squad.

If he brought Joey along as well as some other legend players he would have been fine.

In 2005, after losing their first thirteen games of the season, the Knights finished with the wooden spoon. In early 2006, Hagan signed a contract to coach the Parramatta Eels

🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I do agree with the not changing the coach we need to remove our head of recruitment and head of football.

Why would those coaches keep the same squad? yeah some players are under long term contracts but so were RCG and WBlake when moved on from Penrith

Cleary didnt make the top 8 in 2019, first year he came back to Penrith

Despite Penrith finishing 5th in 2018, and a 1 point loss in a semi to make it to a GF qualifier

He let go some big name players and cultured the playing style

seriously mate, you need to find a hobby

in all my 20 odd years here I've never know such an obsessed stalker as you
Replying with a gif to dumb posts that are taking up space in the latest page of the thread I clicked on is stalking now? Rightio...

At least I don't go back multiple pages to reply to multiple posts and take them off topic, like the subject of my scorn does... now that could more fairly be called stalking (or trolling).

Fair enough and I get it. No coach can win a premiership with this squad, but it's time for this whole squad and coach to be blown up and rebuilt by someone else. There is nothing left to lose.
